Synopsis
Bazz struggles with the restrictions caused by his head injury, and his insistence on returning to normality results in him crashing his van and starting a fight with Lewis. Darren and Max make a porn disk, Mr. Benson's trip down memory lane with Mrs. Benson goes terribly, and the grand opening of Parker's takes place.Plot
Kurt is distant and Ruth is concerned. He reads a newspaper article on a man freed after being found to be innocent, ten years after his incarceration. Julie starts to paint the flat. Dawn helps Maddie prepare for the opening of Parker's. Kurt worries that he will be found guilty and Ruth tries to comfort him. Mrs. Benson worries about Kurt, and Kurt tries to convince his parents to go out. Mandy worries about Helen. Lewis has to leave her home alone. Susi does not like the colours Julie has chosen. Julie is shocked to learn that Susi has withdrawn all the money so she can see what it looks like. She is horrified when Susi sets fire to a £10 note. Bazz feels useless because of his head injury. Maddie is not impressed when Carol thinks that Kurt is guilty. Dawn and Maddie are shocked when Lewis sympathises with Kurt. He goes to check on Mandy.Mr. Benson asks if Kurt would like to return to the business until the trial, to which Kurt accepts. Mr. Benson struggles to start the bike and Jambo has to help, to everyone's amusement. Julie hides the money under a stack of paint cans and brushes, in case they are burgled. Kurt decides that he doesn't want to go to Parker's. Lucy is worried when Bazz walks into the doorframe. She and Carol go upstairs to check on him, he is having to blast his music to be able to hear it. Darren vents to Max about being forced to move from the United States to Chester, he does not like it and his family tell him to stop whining about it. Bazz is adamant on driving to work himself. The bike has broken down and Mrs. Benson is unimpressed. Darren and Max go onto a chatroom. They encounter a pervert who sends them a link to a porn site, and asks for their address. They refuse and go onto the porn site. They need to enter a credit card number to access the site.
Bazz struggles to focus when driving on the road, and keeps drifting towards the other side. As he rubs his eyes, he misses the corner and ends up crashing through a fence. Lewis returns home and is shocked to find that Mandy and Cindy are throwing a party. He throws everyone out and makes Mandy tidy up the mess. Kurt surveys the damage to Bazz's van as Lucy comforts Bazz. Carol says that when she was in hospital, the nurse said that most head injuries result in permanent brain damage. Everyone is unimpressed by her. Lucy offers to be Bazz's chauffeur. Mrs. Benson calls Lucy, asking for someone to pick them up. Cindy steals some of Susi's money, but Mandy makes her put it back.
Mr. and Mrs. Benson argue. Bazz has no faith in the justice system, worrying Ruth even more. Kurt and Jambo come to Mr. & Mrs. Benson's rescue. The opening of Parker's gets underway. Darren decides to get a credit card number from a till receipt. Kurt and Jambo arrive with Martin. He flirts with her. Dawn struggles to hide her jealousy when asking Jambo where Anita is. Darren and Max get into the website. They decide to save the files to a floppy disk. Martin makes a speech. Bazz gets wound up by Lewis and starts a fight with him. He shoves Lewis, who falls over. Darren thinks that the disk will make them a fortune.
