Synopsis
While the gathering of the Morgans is proving to be anything but a happy occasion, thoughts of loved ones are preoccupying others. It should have been one of the happiest days of their lives, but it seems that Andy and Sue have had to settle for the role of sideshow to the main event: namely, the way Luke's return looks set to open new wounds within his family. For Mandy and Adam in particular, the repercussions of his visit will soon prove to have devastating consequences. But it seems that throughout the village, everyone's concerned with matters of kith and kin. When Toby arrives at work, he's confused and suspicious to find Ellie - not known for her punctual time-keeping - already there. He confronts her, only to be shocked by an accidental confession. Ellie's news could mean a complete life change for both her and, crucially, Ben. But is Ben aware of the full gravity of the situation, or is he too preoccupied nosing into the private lives of others, including Tony and Izzy?Plot
