Episode 884 is an episode of Hollyoaks which aired on Tuesday 1st October 2002.
Synopsis
There's a mood of good-natured celebration as Mr. C notches up his half-century. But while others might feel decidedly gloomy at the prospect of reaching the grand old age of fifty, for the man who put the "go" into "local government" it's an excuse to embark on a major makeover. Enlisting the services of Nick O'Connor, Councillor Cunningham sets out to blitz Chester's finest boutiques in search of a dazzling new image. The results are not quite to everyone's tastes, but inspire a chain of events that end up involving most of Hollyoaks's residents and the most unlikely of cabaret entertainers to grace the stage (and bar) of The Loft to date. Settled into his special party "throne", King Gordon has every right to reflect on how much he's achieved with his life. But does Helen feel the same? And with chez Cunningham fit to bursting with lodgers of all ages, isn't it time he put his own house in order? Becca feels segregated from her friends. While the Hunter's clash, Ellie meets up with Toby. Eve's risky plan may well lead her to be caught out.Plot
