Synopsis
Eve resorts to new lows to try fix her debt problem. Zara and Adam are furious when Sue and Andy make a decision without their input. Max is left surprised by Tony's offer. Dan makes plans for his new shop, whilst Les leaves for his driving job.Plot
Max bumps into Mandy, causing her to drop her folder. Zara shows off her suit to Adam. Max is impressed by Mandy's concept artwork. Dan is thankful to Sally for the money. Tony tries to apologise to Izzy and she forgives him. Tony considers hiring a manager for The Loft. Becca has started a collection for Chloe and Matt's engagement gift. Tony gives Eve advice as to handle her debts. Sally tells Dan about Les's new job of driving an HGV across Europe with Steph's dad, Johnno. Adam tells Zara not to tell Beth about the move. Ellie is pleased for Les, regarding his new job. Les promises to Sally that he won't drink, even if Johnno wants to. Tony considers hiring a manager, or selling or renting The Loft. He wants to keep the yard, but rent out The Octagon. Max tells Tony that he had his eye on Theologic, but Dan was able to purchase the building first. Tony wants Max to meet with him at The Loft, as he might be able to help Max with new premises.
Zara tells Sue that she wants to go to sixth form. Sue doesn't tell her about the move to Canada. Mandy is nervous about her job, but Adam is very supportive. Izzy tells Ellie about Tony wanting a manager. Ellie is thrilled that Izzy thinks that she would be best for the job. Tony offers to lease The Octagon to Max. Max is surprised. Ellie snobbily refuses to give to Becca's collection. Adam helps Mandy work out the budget, she is adamant on paying Adam for helping. Sue and Andy are over the moon to receive a letter from Beth's solicitor, who believes that Beth could be released from prison in a month. Mandy has received a call from a well known professional photographer who wants to work on the shoot. Zara tells Adam about Beth's upcoming release, but Sue and Andy want to push forward the move. Tony offers Toby a part-time job at The Loft, as he plans to promote Ellie to manager.
Becca stops to talk to Mandy. She places the collection money on a seat, and accidentally leaves it behind when he leaves. Les is grateful for Ellie's support. Ellie tells him about possibly getting the manager job at The Loft. Becca goes to pay for the present but cannot find the money. She races out of the shop to find the money when the shopkeeper allows her to come back for the item. A customer gives Eve the collection money. Dan, Toby, Adam, Max, Tony and Izzy try to come up with a name for Dan's new shop. Dan starts to soften towards Les. Tony spots a man looking over Deva. Adam confronts Sue and Andy about selling Deva. He explodes at them, saying that he will not join them and Zara does not want to. Les says goodbye to Sally and Ellie. Zara arrives to hear Sue, Andy and Adam's argument. She storms off when Sue and Andy realise she has heard them. Someone calls The Dog in the Pond, and Eve tells them that "Eve Crawford" no longer lives in Chester. She steals the collection money and lies to Becca that nobody has handed it in.Cast
