Synopsis
Christmas Day for the Davies and Morgans goes disastrously when Mr. Morgan is joined by an unexpected guest. Max and Laura attempt to reunite Mandy and the family, but Helen's behaviour ruins Christmas. Zara turns on Lisa when Brian breaks up with her, whilst the Hunters' Christmas falls apart with the discovery of a present under the tree for Ellie.Plot
Zara tells Abby her plans for her first time with Brian. Sally tries to convince Lisa to see a counsellor. Two women, Clarice and BJ flirt with Les and Andy during a karaoke night at The Dog in the Pond. Max and Laura try to get Mandy to return home for Christmas. Sally and Lisa talk, and Lisa agrees to seeing a counsellor.
Les ends up getting drunk. Babs and Clarice drag Adam and Andy out when The Dog closes. Mandy realises that she has only bought a gift for Tom. Helen covers up a photograph of Lewis. Zara argues with Brian at midnight mass. Abby is furious when Lee vomits on her shoes. Brian argues with Zara outside of the church and breaks up with her.
Les and Lee are nursing hangovers. Abby comforts an upset Zara. Andy shows up at the Morgans with his date - BJ. Helen is desperate to join Max to see Anna. BJ recognises Will - he arrested her for prostitution! Mr. C burns the vegetables. Gary comforts Lee when he feels left out by the family. Helen fusses over Laura and ignores Mandy. Lisa receives a threatening text from Zara.
The Hunters' Christmas turns sour when Lee finds a present for Ellie. The argument turns to Lisa's self-harming and Sally and Lisa argue. Laura receives a present from her brother, 'Kieran'. BJ sneaks off with Jamie to have sex. Sally and Les have got Lee a moped. The Cunninghams argue over Anna and the baby. They are stunned to learn of Helen's plans to adopt the baby. Mr. C explodes at Helen for ignoring Mandy. Helen attacks Mr. C and, after separating them, Mandy and Helen argue.Cast
