Synopsis
The Hutchinsons pull together as they prepare for Ro's sentencing, while Clare reveals a shocking diagnosis to Dodger, but is she telling the truth?Plot
It's the day of D.I. Banks's funeral and Ro's sentencing. Lucas confronts Dillon and Ste, who both vehemently deny having an affair. Dillon admits he was struggling yesterday and Ste talked him out of going back to drugs. He opens up to Lucas about what happened whilst he was being exploited and admits to not using condoms. Clare spies an opportunity to manipulate Dodger, telling him that she found out this morning, before D.I. Banks's funeral, that her cancer had come back. Lucas wants Dillon to go to the hospital to be tested for STDs. Diane crumbles as Ro's called to the courtroom.
Sienna laughs when Dodger tells her that Clare has cancer, unconvinced she's telling the truth. Donny's been handed a load of D.I. Banks's old cases and invites Dodger to assist him in reviewing them. Dodger agrees, knowing it could help him get closer to the truth about Dennis and Mrs. Banks's identity. Ro's handed a twelve month rehabilitation order. He's relieved but offers a sincere apology to Oscar for what happened. Vicky tells her father that Robbie's left the village and she isn't sure where he's gone. She admits to attacking Grace and breaks down and panics when she's told that Grace isn't dead. Donny reassures his daughter that he'll protect her.
Upon returning to The Hutch, Marie avows to Tony that she wants them to get back together. Dodger assists Clare in taking shopping back to the flat. Once inside, he snoops around and finds a box with Tori's name on. Inside it is her clinical case record and designated social worker, Ian Stone. Cleo decides that she wants to share her and her baby's life with Sienna. Clare asks Dodger to cut her hair off, so he obliges, and then suggests supervised visits. She smirks into a mirror when alone, while Dodger texts Ian Stone requesting a meeting to discuss Victoria Blake.Cast
