Synopsis
Leela tells Jeremy that Tommy's not a real therapist, while Diane makes a shocking discovery in D.I. Banks's car. Elsewhere, Darren's unhappy when Nancy reveals that she's going on a date.Plot
Nancy tells Darren that she has a date later. Diane's shocked to see lipstick in the passenger seat of D.I. Banks's car. Jeremy hangs out with Tommy on the day of Billy's funeral. He's on edge, worried about what he may have disclosed to Tommy during their hypnosis session. Darren's determined to find out who the bloke is that Nancy's going on a date with. Misbah's relieved as Donny's showing signs of improvement. Diane vents to Misbah about the lipstick, so Misbah reveals to her that she knows that D.I. Banks is married. Diane furiously confronts D.I. Banks, vowing to find his missus and expose any other dirty secrets he has.
Leela tells Jeremy that Tommy isn't a real therapist and that he records his clients therapy sessions. Nancy confides in Tony that she's still in love with Darren; Darren catches Tony with Nancy and gets the wrong end of the stick, flooring Tony with a punch. Darren apologises to Tony and they make up. Joel feels bad for Tommy and supports him at the wake, but won't go back to his place when invited. Tommy acknowledges Leela being the reoccurring theme for why they cannot maintain a friendship any longer. Ro worries that he's the reason for Diane and D.I. Banks's argument. Diane reassures him that he's not. When alone, Ro goes onto his laptop and opens up T-Kids forum, where he chats with online friend Nina about his current problems.
At 17 Basswood Road, Darren pours his heart out to Nancy in a speech he's written. Nancy admits that there was never a date and kisses him passionately. Tommy returns home to find Jeremy waiting for him. Jeremy confronts Tommy over what Leela's told him and prepares to strangle him, but is stopped in his tracks when Tommy plays a recording of him confessing to his murders and drugging Sienna. Tommy reveals that he's stored Jeremy's voice recordings on a protective email scheduled to be sent to Sienna and the police in 24 hours, unless he cancels it. Having firmly obtained the upper hand, Tommy tells Jeremy he'll now do exactly as he says.Cast
