Synopsis
A shocking turn of events leaves Joel in an unfavourable position. Sienna's test results show that she has a drug in her system. Donny's investigation heats up.Plot
Having spent the night together, Cleo has to hide Joel when Mercedes comes upstairs to use the bathroom. Donny hands D.I. Banks the photos he took of him last night and wants to know why he sent him on a wild goose chase. D.I. Banks snaps back, claiming that he was meeting his wife, who was handing him over some essentials. Joel returns home and tells Leela that he was with Tommy. He plays the recording of her that Tommy gave him. Sienna's had a call from the neurology department so heads to get her test results with Jeremy, where she finds out that she has a drug in her system. She realises that she's being drugged but Jeremy plays down her concerns.
Leela denies saying what was on the recording and plans to call the police, but Joel stops her and explains the trouble he's got himself into with Tommy and Billy. Tommy receives a phone call from the hospital whilst in his own company. Leela accuses Joel of putting their family in danger and thinks it's time he tells the truth. He decides to go the police and confess. Leela asks him before he goes if there's anything else he's not telling her. He says there isn't, choosing to keep his night with Cleo to himself. Donny tells Misbah that he's suspicious of D.I. Banks and that he's married. Misbah wants to tell Diane but Donny doesn't want her saying anything until he's found out more.
Leela confides in Mercedes over what's going on. Cleo and Joel agree that no one can find out that they spent the night together. Whilst at the hospital to see Peri, Leela notices Tommy outside his brother's room and his brother flatlining. A crash team race into the room. In front of Jeremy, Sienna tells Cleo that she needs to find out who's been giving her unknown substances. D.I. Banks tells P.C. Guy that they must shut Donny down if he starts to hook on to their operation. Peri breaks the news to Misbah and Diane that the police have paid Marie a visit - she's been told that Maxine's confessed to Abe's murder. Leela stops Joel from confessing everything to the police and reveals that Billy's died.Cast
