Synopsis
Donny looks into who's supplying Frankie and Dillon with the vapes, Rex helps Darren, and Leela and Ste are baffled to see Tommy dressed as a wizard.Plot
Rex thinks it's time for Dillon to knock the vapes on the head for a bit and Frankie to sort things out with Darren. Reaching out to Donny and Misbah for support, Darren's shocked to discover that they already knew that Dillon was using vapes and blames Dillon for Frankie's addiction. Misbah calms the tension between the gents before Donny proposes they cut the supply to the drugs. Grace is stunned to see Mercedes at The Loft. Joel's missed a call to Tommy, having spent a passionate morning with Leela. He rings Tommy back and claims he can't make the convention as something's come up at work. Misbah tries talking to Dillon but is accused of interfering, so Lucas tries to talk sense into his ex instead.
Donny pins Rex to a wall and accuses him of pedalling drugs to Frankie and Dillon, making clear it's only a matter of time before everything comes crashing down. Lucas witnesses the exchange and, afterwards, issues Rex with an ultimatum: get the pair clean and out the flat today or he tells Ste everything. In the village, Ste and Leela are baffled to find Tommy dressed as a wizard and staring at 2 Oakdale Drive. D.I. Banks shows Grace a video of Maxine confessing to killing Abe and explains that they've had to let Mercedes go as a result. He warns Grace to let go of her feud with Mercedes and focus on Frankie and Dillon instead. Freddie and the McQueens are chuffed to see Mercedes a free woman.
Grace witnesses Rex encouraging Frankie to speak with Darren. Joel explains that Tommy's dressed as a wizard because they were meant to attend a Zalgron Island convention together. Leela wants to know which one of them is going to sort Tommy out. As Darren reflects on his experience of dealing with Luke's addiction, he manages to get Frankie to open up to him about how memories of JJ still haunt her. She agrees to return home with him and goes to pack before receiving a text from Grace asking if she fancies a holiday. Joel's confused when Tommy tells him that he knows he lied about being busy and will be sorry. Frankie escapes Weirside View with a packed bag and leaves with Dillon as Darren helplessly watches on. Rex tells Lucas that he's going to put an end to the trafficking. He anonymously texts Donny, telling him to look closer to home at who's putting the kids in danger.Cast
