Synopsis
Donny starts asking questions, while Joel collects the money he's owed from Tommy. Elsewhere, Tony feels defeated.Plot
Tony's released pending further investigation. The Hutch has been graffitied with the words "child abuser". Seeing his friend so downbeat, Ste makes a phone call to someone. Joel and Leela clash over Arlo's lie. Donny has questions for Dillon about his recent involvement with Rex; his concerns rise when he finds a vape at Weirside View. Rex interrupts the pair, just as Donny continues his questioning. Diane tends to Tony at The Hutch, just as Marie shows up with Arlo.
Outside Weirside View, Donny attempts to interrogate Rex some more. As he does, Freddie and Maxine hide round the side of The Love Boat and watch on. Freddie suspects that Donny could be working with Grace, so Maxine agrees to get in touch with a contact at the police station to see what she can dig up on Abe's case. Diane tries to help Marie realise that Arlo's a liar but Marie stands firmly by her son's side. Freddie confronts D.I. Banks over Donny being a crooked police officer. D.I. Banks takes the pair in to find out what they know.
Joel visits Tommy for the money and offers to help him fix a faulty detector for him. An emotional Marie sends Arlo off to Price Slice and looks inside his bag whilst he's gone. She's shocked to see spray paint inside. While visiting Diane at 67 Christleton Terrace, D.I. Banks asks Donny about Rex. Donny explains that while Rex has a clear record, he thinks Rex and Grace might have had help from inside the force. Tommy offers Joel free therapy sessions as thanks for fixing the detector. They bond over their similar experiences of an abusive past. Ro connects with friend Nina on social media and confides in her about his worries for his and his family's future.Cast
