Synopsis
Leela's left traumatised by an incident at the Emergency Services Charity Event, while a couple get engaged outside of Dee Valley University Hospital.Plot
Myra's back, and she's determined to find out who Mercedes is taking the fall for over Abe's murder, and why. Jeremy has his first therapy session this morning. Tommy apologises to Leela for yesterday and wants them to move on. She tells him to do one and that she still has her survivor's group to go to. Cleo meets with Sienna at Casa McQueen, the pair having met on the City Wall last night. Joel admits to Marie that he messaged Cleo last night. She urges him to find a way to move past Cleo before he risks losing Leela for good.
Leela comes clean to Joel that she's been seeing a counsellor for the last few months. He's proud of her and suggests they go to the Emergency Services Charity Event happening at The Loft in the evening. Tommy eyes up Leela's file and then goes on the internet. At the hospital, Misbah wheels Mercedes into a private room, where she comes face-to-face with Myra, Maxine and John Paul. Tommy sees a post from Joel about Leela on social media while listening to Jeremy at his first appointment. Jeremy opens up about his past and his current relationship with John Paul, and how it'll never work. Tommy gives his pearls of wisdom and advises a grand, romantic gesture to show how he really feels about him.
Cleo invites Sienna to the Emergency Services Charity Event as her date. Mercedes is short with Myra. Myra tells her daughter that she prays everyday for her as she doesn't want to lose another child. At The Loft, Cleo and Sienna and Joel and Leela enjoy themselves. Joel tells Leela that Cleo and Sienna are seeing one another. Cleo can't help but set her eyes on Joel. Outside the hospital, Jeremy shocks John Paul by proposing to him. John Paul accepts and rings Nana to break the good news to her. She's chuffed for him. Cleo tells Joel she didn't listen to his voicemail. He asks her to delete it. Leela's mortified when all the partygoers at the Charity Event are sent the video of her rape ordeal.Cast
