Synopsis
D.I. Banks learns that there's a mole lurking around the village and warns Grace. Dodger tells Maxine that he's an undercover cop. Ste's found Abe's watch at Jeremy's allotment.Plot
Grace tells Robbie that she saw Vicky leaving with Freddie yesterday. Rex wants him and Grace to launder money from D.I. Banks to show him what they can do. Darren's ignored Nancy's request for him to leave 17 Basswood Road. He concludes that he's been set up by Kat after a chat with Jack. Seeing Robbie with Maxine, Liberty senses a spark between the pair. Maxine rejects Liberty's sense and admits she's seeing someone else, but doesn't tell her that it's Dodger. Cleo finds Ste with Abe's watch. Ste tells her that he found it in Jeremy's allotment, so Cleo decides to talk to Martha and do some digging of her own.
Maxine has a rendezvous with Dodger in his car. She discovers a gun and undercover passport in his glove compartment whilst he's on the phone and wants answers. Darren reports Kat to Donny at the police station for stalking, but it doesn't get him anywhere. Dodger tells Maxine that he's an undercover cop and explains how he started working for the force when she points out he was was previously on the run. He reveals that the group he's investigating are involved in exploitation. Maxine's hurt to discover that Dodger lied to her and targeted her for information as the group have links to the gang that Dave used to head up. Jeremy's returns to the Blakes flat to find Cleo with Martha. Ste then disturbs the trio, wanting answers on what happened to Furnando and why Jeremy buried Abe's watch at the allotment.
At The Dog in the Pond, Maxine tells Liberty she's ended things with the guy she was seeing, explaining that he's an undercover cop investigating exploitation. D.I. Banks overhears their conversation. Jeremy denies stealing Abe's watch and kicks Ste and Cleo out. With the £500,000 from D.I. Banks to launder, Grace has bought designer handbags. Darren disturbs Kat and Frankie whilst they're hanging out together. He grabs Kat, wanting them to talk where Frankie can't hear them, but as he does, Kat screams out in pain. The altercation is witnessed by Frankie and Grace. Jeremy admits to Martha that he killed Abe. Kat's taken a non-molestation order out against Darren and he's arrested on suspicion of assault in front of Jack and Nancy. Having found out from D.I. Banks that Maxine is seeing a mole, Grace decides to befriend her so that they can find out who the guy is and get rid of him.Cast
