Synopsis
Mercedes takes the blame for Abe's death when suspicion falls on Cleo. Arlo misinterprets a situation and Ro suffers the consequences. Rex suggests to Dillon he moves into Weirside View.Plot
Marie breaks down in Tony's arms upon learning of Abe's death, while at the police station, Cleo, John Paul and Freddie hold a protest for Mercedes. Jeremy denies murdering Abe when questioned by Sienna. Sienna wants to talk to Cleo about what happened between them but Cleo just wants to focus on getting Mercedes out of prison. Donny struggles to believe that Mercedes was able to kill Abe and notes that Abe had traces of Hypnizol, a prescription only sleeping medication, in his system. Misbah acknowledges that Cleo had the drug prescribed to her recently.
Arlo and Ro bond over losing a brother in the school toilets. Arlo asks Ro not to tell anyone that he saw him upset. Donny mentions the sleeping medication found in Abe's system to Mercedes and, upon mentioning Cleo's name, Mercedes suddenly decides she's ready to be interviewed by D.I. Banks. Freddie confronts Grace over shooting Abe and then planting the gun on Mercedes. John Paul calls Joel into school to talk to Arlo. Getting the wrong end of the stick, Arlo thinks Ro told his family about him being upset. To get back at Ro, Arlo steals his bag and sneaks into the girls toilets. Rex suggests to Dillon that he moves into Weirside View. Dillon invites Lucas to move in with him.
Freddie tells D.I. Banks at the station that Grace is framing Mercedes, but D.I. Banks isn't interested as there's been a development in the case. Ro is traumatised to find a bag of sanitary towels in his bag at home. Cleo apologises to Sienna for being off with her earlier. Mercedes rings Cleo and tells her that the police believe it was her who killed Abe and so she's going to go down to protect her. Cleo tries to talk Mercedes out of giving up but is unable to. Rex tells Grace that Kat is bonding with Frankie online. Grace is shocked but is happy for Frankie to be targeted. Jeremy sneaks into Mercedes' bedroom while Cleo's sleeping in there and eyes up Cleo's handbag. Cleo wakes and is startled by Jeremy's presence.Cast
