Synopsis
Cleo sets a deadly plan into motion, but Abe stays one step ahead. Diane joins a dating app and ends up sleeping with D.I. Banks. Joel and Leela find out who Clara's father is.Plot
Freddie tells Mercedes that she's the one he wants to be with. Cleo's prepared Abe a bowl of poisoned porridge; Sienna tries to talk Cleo out of murdering Abe but is unable to. Cleo gives Abe the porridge but he quickly realises it's been poisoned and throws the bowl at her. She returns to Sienna upset and Sienna takes her back to her flat to clean her up. The DNA test results confirm that Joel is Clara's father. Having caught Freddie hiding the gun at the flat, Grace arms herself with it and has revenge on her mind. She tells Freddie that she saw him snogging Mercedes in the garage and Freddie admits that it's Mercedes he wants to be with.
Tony's discharged from the hospital and finds Marie's waiting outside for him. They agree to start again and kiss just as Diane comes round the corner. Deciding to take back control of her own love life, Diane posts her personal profile to a dating app. As Cleo cleans herself up in the shower, she's supported by Sienna and they end up sharing a kiss. Diane meets with a date at her flat. Sienna and Cleo are shocked when, upon returning to the eaves, they find that Abe's disappeared. Arlo cries and loses his temper upon hearing Leela tell Joel that she hopes Abe's found dead somewhere for all the pain he's caused. Mercedes cannot believe that Grace has given Freddie her blessing for them to be together. They head off to the hospital together to find out if Mercedes can continue her chemotherapy.
Jeremy takes Abe to the woods, having eavesdropped on Sienna and Cleo earlier and found out where he was. He promises to help Abe get away, but when Abe says the wrong thing, Jeremy pulls rope from his pocket and strangles him. Grace hears Abe's screams and heads to the woods to investigate. Sienna texts Cleo seeing if she's alright. Grace arrives at the scene of the crime and shoots Abe's lifeless body before leaving and making a phone call. Diane's spent the evening with D.I. Banks, who's then called away on business. Grace meets with Mercedes outside the hospital to wish her luck with her appointment. She hugs Mercedes and slips the gun into her bag at the same time. D.I. Banks then suddenly arrives and, upon inspecting Mercedes' bag, arrests her on suspicion of the murder of Abe.Cast
