Synopsis
The Hutch's grand re-opening doesn't go as planned. Mercedes prepares to kill Abe. The Blakes secret is under threat when Martha lets slip to someone where Dilly is.Plot
Abe rings his mother, hopeful of borrowing money so that he can get away, but she declines his call. Leela has doubts over the plan to kill Abe, but Cleo, Peri and Mercedes remind her that it's the only way to stop Abe from harming anyone else. Mercedes gets a gun off of Freddie. Sienna keeps having nightmares about Dilly. She panics when Martha reveals she's told someone about their "family drama". The Hutch is officially re-opened and is brimming with guests.
Leela calls Abe and lures him to 2 Oakdale Drive. Mercedes lingers outside with a gun. Abe arrives at 2 Oakdale Drive and is shocked to see Cleo and Peri there too. He snatches their phones and reads Cleo's, discovering that Mercedes has a gun and is on her way. He smacks Leela across the face and grabs Cleo, before Mercedes appears and shoots him. Abe lies lifeless on the floor and Mercedes collapses onto the sofa. Joel arrives home and Abe comes round, the bullet having missed him. He gets hold of the gun and tries shooting Joel but the gun doesn't fire. Police knock on the door and Abe flees, with Joel following behind.
Diane visits Tony, wanting to support him at the re-opening. She apologises for threatening to tell Marie of their kiss, which Abe overhears. Marie disturbs the pair, worried about Abe. He makes his presence known. Sienna learns that Martha has spoken to Abe. Abe begs his mother for help, but finally acknowledging what he's really like, she refuses. Tony disturbs them and Abe takes her hostage with a knife. He wants car keys and so Darren offers him Tony's. A scuffle ensues and Tony's stabbed. Abe takes the keys and runs to the car, bundling Marie into the back. Joel catches him driving off and gets into his own car. Martha admits she let slip to Abe that Dilly's in the allotment. Down a country lane, Abe and Joel's cars hurtle towards each other...Cast
