Synopsis
A tense showdown in the men's toilets at The Loft reveals Leela's harrowing secret, while Mercedes discharges herself from the hospital. Elsewhere, Dillon and Lucas are reunited.Plot
Mercedes, Joel and Leela all join Cleo's livestream. Mercedes discharges herself from the hospital. Abe manages to stay one step ahead of Cleo and Peri as they attempt to get him to admit to his despicable actions. Mercedes' phone dies whilst she's watching the livestream back at 65 Christleton Terrace. Freddie visits her and tries to help her but she pushes him away, reclaiming her independence. Abe uses his traumatic past with Marie and Mick to try and justify some of his behaviours, but the women see right through him.
Showing his nasty streak once again, Abe reveals to them and everyone on the livestream that he raped Leela whilst she was asleep, just like he did to Peri. Sickened by what they've heard, Cleo alerts Abe to her phone and her livestream before the women launch a physical attack on him and leave. Joel is horrified by the revelation while Leela tearfully explains what happened. Dillon and Lucas sleep together at Weirside View and Dillon then opens up about wanting them to start again, before a text from Misbah asking to see him disturbs their conversation. Joel reassures Leela that his focus is on them healing from her trauma together and Clara always being his, no matter what the paternity outcome is.
In his flat, Abe digs out his passport. Dillon and Lucas show up at 67 Christleton Terrace together and Dillon apologises to Misbah for his recent outburst. Ste explains he'd like to play a bigger part in baby James' life again and Dillon agrees. Both Misbah and Ste are relieved that Dillon and Lucas have made amends. Joel cradles Clara in his arms and tries to convince himself that she is his. A distressed Leela visits Mercedes, Cleo and Peri. Peri can't understand why her mother didn't speak up but remains supportive and embraces her. The women start to rile themselves up as they decide it's time for Abe to stop getting away with his actions. Mercedes declares that they kill the abuser.Cast
