Synopsis
Joel and Leela hope that Cleo can help bring Abe down. Prince and Dilly have another sexual encounter after Zoe has a go at him for not pulling his weight with Theo. A familiar face returns to the village.Plot
Having received a text from Mercedes about Cleo regaining consciousness, Joel and Leela pay Cleo a visit and tell her that Abe raped Peri. Cleo agrees to tell them about what Abe put her through. Zoe tears a strip off Prince for not stepping up for his family. Cleo explains how Abe manipulated her after the motorbike crash. Sienna takes Martha to Meadow Holt to retrieve her old LP records after Martha recalls how she hid them in the attic during her abusive relationship with Charles. Dilly checks in on Prince, having witnessed his argument with Zoe.
Frankie worries about Darren disappearing during her trial next week. Pearl holds a crisis talk with Maxine and Zoe at Price Slice over Prince and his recent behaviour with Dilly. Cleo recalls how she used a crime book that Abe bought her to plan her escape from him. Leela opens up to Mercedes about how she remembers that Abe raped her and she needs to tell Joel. Prince and Dilly sleep together by the bins at the back of Casa McQueen. Afterwards, Prince gets a phone call from Pearl asking him to pick Theo up from John Paul. Dilly tells Prince that she loves him and he reciprocates. Joel lets himself into Abe's flat and searches for the room that Cleo was locked up in, but the room's been converted into a gym and there isn't a trace of Cleo there.
Darren promises Frankie he won't bail on her and reassures her that JJ's going to finally get what's coming to him. Abe brazenly defends himself to Joel over holding Cleo hostage at The Dog in the Pond before Leela can tell him about her own ordeal. Riled by Abe's behaviour, Joel calls his half-brother out to a pub full of customers. The women in the pub: Zoe, Pearl, Maxine, Sienna and Martha unite to see Abe out. Having noticed Leela disappear to the toilets at the pub, Marie pays her a visit. Leela appeals to Marie to open up her eyes and see her son for the abuser he is. A hooded figure watches Sienna leaving The Dog with Martha - it's Dodger Savage. Marie returns to Abe's flat and looks around the gym for any evidence of Cleo being there. She's shocked to find a 'C' carved into the wood, but is unaware that Abe's also there watching her.Cast
