Synopsis
Peri confronts Abe about Cleo leading to dangerous consequences, Dillon struggles to look after James, and Arlo's bullying campaign against Ro leads to a relapse.Plot
Taking the pillowcase to the hospital and comparing the fabric to Cleo's makeshift wedding dress, Peri realises that it's the same. Prince disturbs Peri and she explains to him and Zoe that she's trying to work out why Cleo ended up in the state she has. Back at his flat, Abe discovers the pillowcase has gone missing and panics. Rex encourages Dillon to get his folks to look after James so that they can go out for a drink together later. Arlo's jealous upon witnessing Tony supporting Ro; he puts out gin and tonic to tempt Ro when no one's home. Returning to the flat, Peri tries to voice her concerns to Abe, but he avoids the conversation. Ro receives a text from Arlo telling him to kill himself. It drives him towards the gin and tonic and he downs a can.
Peri knocks back wine and then finds the courage to confront Abe over Cleo. As the situation intensifies, Abe lashes out and hits her. James cries at Casa McQueen and Dillon stresses as he can't calm his son down. Abe apologises to Peri, but she still wants answers. He accuses her of letting the McQueens get into her head and insists he's a good yet flawed man when she points out his extreme reaction to any conversation they have about Cleo. He tells Peri he needs her more than he's ever needed anyone and denies having an affair when Peri states that she doesn't think Cleo was ever in Bali and was actually in the country. Struggling to approve of Abe's response, Peri gets another bottle of wine from the fridge.
Handing James over to Donny and Misbah, Dillon opens up about how his son has ruined everything and he wishes things could go back to the way they were before he was born. Misbah wants them to talk things through but Dillon just walks out. Peri falls asleep in the bedroom. Arlo's messaged Tony about Ro's relapse. Ro blames Arlo but Tony doesn't believe his son and tells him he's the only person to blame. Dillon drinks at The Loft and tells Rex what he's done with James. Rex advises Dillon to stop with the guilt and the drink and offers him "something stronger", handing over a vape. Abe finds Peri asleep and unbuckles his trousers before leaning over his wife and going to rape her.Cast
