Synopsis
Ro's taken to hospital, Dillon hopes to reunite with Lucas, and Rex worries about being caught out.Plot
Tony finds Ro on the floor in his bedroom and cries out for Diane. Dillon drenches Lucas's shoes at the park and feels bad. He hopes they can talk things over. Rex worries about Freddie finding out about his and Grace's secret. His fears are amplified when Grace asks Freddie to go and get her handbag, which is right by where Rex has hidden the gun at The Love Boat. Ro's taken to the hospital. Rex manages to stop Freddie from finding the gun. He's shocked when he then finds Jacob in the village. Tony and Diane blame themselves for Ro's state and end up kissing. Rex makes Jacob get rid of the gun for him.
Tony pulls away from Diane and has instant regret. Diane begs Tony to come back to her and Ro but they're disturbed as the nurse has an update for them on their son. Dillon lays his cards on the table in the hopes Lucas will come back to him. Ro's gotten away with not needing his stomach pumping. His parents try and get answers over whether a specific event caused yesterday's incident; Ro sees Arlo lurking behind the door and keeps tight-lipped. Seeing Dillon and Lucas together, Pearl decides to play matchmaker. It works as Lucas asks Dillon if he wants to go to Casa McQueen later for drinks. While alone with his son, Tony realises from a conversation with Ro that he's not been told everything.
Things are going well for Dillon and Lucas at Casa McQueen, until Misbah disturbs them and hands baby James over to Dillon. Freddie's keen to work out who planned to shoot him so that he can make them wish they'd never been born. Grace encourages him to go and see the new year in with a drink back in the village before asking Rex to keep an eye on her husband. Arlo disturbs Ro while he's alone in his bedroom and suggests that his new year's resolution should be to kill himself. Fireworks go off outside The Dog in the Pond as villagers gather and the clock strikes midnight. Diane's shocked to see Tony and Marie embracing. Tony tells Diane that Ro's told him everything, they won't be getting back together, and he's struggling not to hate her.Cast
