Synopsis
Grace has Freddie back where she wants him. Theresa is urged to seize the day and go to Japan. Diane uses missing alcohol from a stock take that Tony's done to her advantage.Plot
Grace has been admitted to Dee Valley University Hospital. Freddie stays by his wife's bedside until Vicky asks him to go with her as she thinks she knows who shot Grace. Tony's done a stock take and there's alcohol missing. He thinks Diane's taken it and reassures her that if she's relapsed then she'll be his priority. Using this to her advantage, Diane claims she has, but once Tony's left her alone she calls Ro, wanting words. Vicky explains to Freddie that someone knows about them, and she thinks it could be Robbie. Diane finds empty alcohol bottles in Ro's bedroom and confronts him. Ro tells Diane that he knows she only covered for him because she wants Tony back.
The McQueens find out about Theresa's opportunity in Japan thanks to Jeremy. Freddie meets Robbie at The Loft and knocks him out. Vicky's relieved to find out from Ro that it was him who overheard her and Dillon's conversation in the toilets yesterday. She rushes to stop Freddie harming Robbie any further and reveals Freddie's affair with Mercedes to cover up their own secret. Mercedes, Myra and Nana talk Theresa into going to Japan. Tony fusses over Diane, cooking her a meal. At the park, Ro drinks alcohol. Arlo catches him and makes nasty, transphobic comments.
Nana returns to Alicante and Theresa leaves in the taxi for the airport with her. Myra decides to hang around with her family a bit longer, wanting to sort Mercedes out. Freddie accuses Mercedes of shooting him, which she strongly denies. She still wants them to run away together but Freddie backs out, insisting he loves Grace and she needs him. Mercedes is heartbroken when Freddie tells her that he never loved her and only felt sorry for her. A drunken Ro returns to his bedroom and passes out on the floor. Grace comes round at the hospital and tells Rex she wouldn't have trusted anyone else to shoot her. She's delighted to have Freddie back and all to herself.Cast
