Synopsis
The McQueens unite to get answers for Cleo. Sienna lets the family move back in to be around Martha.Plot
Joel calls for an ambulance for Cleo, who manages to utter Abe's name before requiring CPR from Peri as they wait for an ambulance. Martha tells Sienna that "the girl" she saw used to live in the village. Sienna thinks she's on about Liberty and so takes her to see her, but Martha insists that Liberty isn't who she's talking about and she isn't confused about who she really saw. At the hospital, Peri breaks the news to Mercedes and Abe that Cleo's been placed in an induced coma due to the severity of the head injury she sustained.
Whilst alone with Mercedes, Joel fills her in on how he messaged Cleo a few weeks back but she then messaged Leela asking her to get Joel to back off, so he did. Mercedes is aware that someone's been keeping Cleo in the loop as she knew about the wedding. Joel voices his thoughts on Abe having been in contact with Cleo, adding that the day he received the message he could swear he heard Cleo's voice from inside his flat. In the eaves, Abe frantically packs away Cleo's things. He finds her diary and discovers that she tricked him into thinking she was dead so that she could escape him. Jeremy distresses Martha when he tells Sienna that he asked her GP if it was a good idea to move her to a care home. Sienna reassures Martha she's going nowhere and agrees to Jeremy, Liberty and Dilly officially moving back in.
Abe throws away Cleo's belongings in a bin in The Dog in the Pond car park, which Martha sees and tells Sienna is who she saw with "the girl". John Paul breaks into Abe's flat and searches for clues that she was there. He's disturbed by Marie and Peri and admits to them why he's snooping around. Marie gets defensive but the penny begins to drop for Peri. Martha states she saw Abe at the Folly and Sienna thinks she must have seen Abe practicing carrying Peri over the threshold, but when she shows Martha a picture of both Peri and Cleo, Martha maintains that it was Cleo she saw. Peri cries at Cleo's bedside, wishing she'd come round. Mercedes is shell-shocked to catch Abe throwing Cleo's phone into the pond outside The Dog.Cast
