Plot
In The Dog in the Pond car park, Abe throws away his wedding ring from Cleo. Meanwhile, at 2 Oakdale Drive, Peri gets ready for her wedding day. Sienna's shocked to find a drawing from Sophie of someone falling out of a window and worries that Sophie saw what happened to Ethan. She's then left confused when she finds mud on Martha's slippers but Martha claims she didn't go anywhere. Nancy wants Darren to get help for his depression, while Jack doesn't warm to Darren upon seeing him at the hospital.
Tensions rise between Peri and Leela over Abe, resulting in Peri telling her mother that if she can't support her relationship, then she shouldn't attend the wedding. Zoe offers Sienna advice on caring for Martha, having been asked by Jeremy to reach out to Sienna, but it isn't received well. At the riverbank, a jogger wakes Cleo, who quickly gets on her feet and makes her way to the Folly to stop Abe and Peri's wedding. Zoe breaks the news to Peri that Abe hasn't shown up yet when she arrives at the Folly, so Marie drives off to find her son. From the roadside, Cleo waves down the car which Pearl is driving and asks her to take her to the village.
Marie finds Abe at his flat and has to speak sense into him when he says he can't marry Peri and she deserves better. Jeremy approaches Sienna and asks her to let him, Dilly and Liberty move back in when conversation turns to Martha. Darren receives a text from Kat asking him to call her. Martha surprises Sienna when she grabs her coat and insists on finding "the girl", telling Sienna that whilst she was out collecting holly last night she saw a man put the girl in the back of a car. Mercedes, Peri and the rest of the wedding guests are stunned when Cleo appears opposite the Folly. They get a bigger shock when Cleo goes to cross the road but is struck by the car that Marie is driving.Cast
