Synopsis
It's the day of Darren's TV appeal and the Osbornes pull together to make a heartfelt plea, but it doesn't go without any drama. Vicky asks Robbie to keep her pregnancy to himself. Cleo wants Abe to marry her tomorrow.Plot
Nancy isn't sure she'll make it to the TV appeal in time as her flight from Madrid is cancelled and the next one she's managed to get cuts it fine. Robbie's keen to share with Jack and Frankie that Vicky's pregnant but Vicky stops him before he can. Frankie panics when she realises she will have to go in front of the camera and make a plea if Nancy's unavailable. Abe wakes to find Cleo vomiting. She tells him she's relapsed and asks him to run her a bath so she can get clean and sort herself out. Whilst they're in the bathroom together, someone knocks on the front door - it's Peri. Abe leaves Cleo in the bathroom to tend to his other girl.
Nancy makes it to the TV appeal in time. Abe loses his temper with Peri when she tries to get him to have a shower. He shoves her into the wall as he kicks her out, causing her to bleed from her forehead. After getting rid of Peri, he has to kick the bathroom door open to get back to Cleo. She's lying on the floor unconscious. Nancy passes out whilst appealing for Darren. Vicky advises Freddie to forget about her and focus on his relationship with Grace and then asks Robbie to keep her pregnancy to himself until after her 12-week scan so they don't jinx anything. Leela's enraged to learn from Peri that Abe caused her head injury.
Cleo comes back round and explains that she had a tingling pain in her arm before blacking out. She tells Abe it's not the first time she's relapsed and her eating disorder is now the worst it has ever been. She feels as though she's losing the fight and doesn't have long left so asks him to marry her tomorrow if he really loves her. He agrees to. Nancy's told she could be having a multiple sclerosis relapse. She gets emotional as the reality hits that it's been six weeks since Darren's been in touch and resigns herself to the fact Darren has taken his own life. Away from the hospital, Charlie and Darren watch the TV appeal. Charlie's upset to see what Darren's disappearance is doing to Nancy and insists it's time for him to go home.Cast
