Synopsis
Leela's haunted by flashbacks when she tries to get intimate with Joel. Dillon doesn't think he's cut out to be a dad and considers putting James up for adoption. Sienna takes on Martha at her flat.Plot
Martha's spent the night in Jeremy's shed. Jeremy manipulates her over the events of the wedding after she's woken up, telling her that he saw her following Ethan and Sienna to the bridal suite and she confronted Ethan once Sienna left, calling him Charles. Joel and Leela get ready to register Clara's name. Jeremy reminds Martha that the doctors told them that she has dementia and it's why she can't remember that she killed Ethan. Martha wants to confess to her crime before she forgets but Jeremy desperately tries to stop her. Misbah supports Dillon, who's been doubting his parenting abilities. When Lucas posts on social media a photo of him at the Park Café, Dillon's quick to head down there to see him.
Leela panics as Joel wants Clara's middle name to be Marie. Mercedes supports Leela and tells her she must convince herself that Joel is Clara's father if she plans to commit to her lie. At the park, Lucas tries to make Dillon jealous. Jeremy returns to his shed to find 'sorry' written in lipstick on the window and Martha gone. Clara's middle name is registered as Marie. Jeremy finds Martha with Sienna and panics, but Sienna's only annoyed at Jeremy for keeping her grandmother from her, unaware of anything else. When Martha gets confused and refers to Sebastian and Sophie as Patrick and Jeremy, Sienna asks her grandmother to move in with her so that she can care for her from now on.
Dillon feels unable to continue caring for James and wants him either returned to Ste or Leah. Misbah stands firm that he needs to give time to bond with James, but Dillon thinks he's not meant to be a dad and considers putting his son up for adoption. Jeremy opens up to John Paul about his mother's Alzheimer's. Martha then shows up and delightedly tells Jeremy that she's going to be staying with Sienna before showing him her compact mirror, which she's stuck a piece of paper to with the words 'I killed Ethan'. She promises not to lay a finger on anyone again, unless given a reason to. At 2 Oakdale Drive, Leela and Joel start to get intimate, but as they kiss Leela has flashbacks to a night where she was stumbling through woods among a crowd of people before getting into a struggle with someone and later looking unresponsive on the floor as a man approached her.Cast
