Synopsis

It's been one year since the the bombs exploded in Hollyoaks and for some residents, life will never be the same. Meanwhile, others are celebrating engagements and two women in the village are pregnant!

Plot

One year has passed in the village. Theresa receives a postcard from Bali from Cleo. Misbah and Donny are all loved up. Vicky's in a relationship with Robbie. Sienna's engaged to Ethan. Mercedes removes a wig which she's been wearing once away from the outside world. At the graveyard, Darren, Frankie and Nancy gather at one grave and Joel, Leela and Leah at another. Both Leah and Leela are pregnant! Tony and Misbah stand outside a hospital cubicle; someone's laying unconscious in the bed.

Ro's been asking Diane questions and she tells Tony that she's unsure what to tell him. Abe and Peri are in a relationship, and so are Jeremy and John Paul. Prince proposes to Zoe and she says yes, while Donny proposes to Misbah, who also accepts. Vicky isn't over Ethan and texts him, asking if he's sure he's picked the right girl. Leah's waters break at Casa McQueen. Tony tells someone that the doctors are hoping to bring the patient in the hospital bed out of their coma today. Peri and Abe have been secretive for two months now and Peri wants to start telling people that they're seeing each other, but Abe doesn't want them to rush into things. He's jumpy when she suggests spending the night at his.

Mercedes has battled cancer. Leela learns that Leah has gone into labour and Dillon's panicky. She asks if anyone has rang Charlie to let him know. Robbie's furious with Freddie for not giving Lexi her medication to take to school - she has epilepsy. Leah screams out for her dad as she gives birth. Ste, who is the patient in the coma at hospital, suddenly comes round, having survived the explosion of last year. Jack lays flowers on Suzanne Ashworth's grave. The other grave is that of James Nightingale. Abe returns home and takes a tray of food and drink to the eaves, where he's holding Cleo hostage.
