Synopsis
The fallout of Cleo's crash continues. James gets good news. Warren leaves the village without Mercedes. The final part of Blue's plan comes to fruition.Plot
Abe retrieves his tablet and phone from a lifeless Cleo's bag before phoning for an ambulance. Suzanne. Frankie wakes and tries to free her mother, who is trapped underneath the motorcycle. Abe wakes a terrified Cleo and blames her for the disaster. Sally brings out an injured Marie, who has been impaled by a piece of wood. Abe screams at Cleo for help, who starts providing instruction. As fuel continues to leak from the motorcycle, Sally starts CPR on a lifeless Jack. Suzanne tells Frankie she should've protected her from JJ before losing consciousness again. Joel runs in and soon realises that Suzanne is dead.
James and Ste look to the future as they celebrate James's clear test results. At The Dog, Leela tells Darren about Jack. An injured Warren stumbles out of the woods and tells Mercedes that he was stabbed by Dave, who is Blue. He wants to proceed with the escape plan, alone. Mercedes is devastated but eventually agrees. They say goodbye and Warren gives Mercedes a bag.
Darren consoles a devastated Frankie as he arrives at the crash scene. James tells Lucas and Leah that he and Ste are back together. The four embrace as a family, as Mercedes tries to phone James. Donny finds Rex by James's car and has him arrested by nearby police officers. Rex tries to warn the officers about the rigged cars. Mercedes discovers that Warren's bag is full of cash. Marie is taken into intensive care. Cleo tells Joel, Sally and Leela that Abe has been abusing her. Joel flies at Abe but they are interrupted by Misbah calling for a crash cart for Marie. JJ is informed of Suzanne's death and Nancy has to comfort him when Darren can't bear being near him. Tony reveals that Jack's chances of survival are very low.
Abe tells Cleo that Marie has died, making clear that he'll want revenge. Darren pleads with a comatose Jack to recover. Mercedes returns to the village and discovers the damage to The Cage. In the van, Warren opens another bag, also containing money. Sally finds Cleo's hospital bed empty. A mysterious figure, with Cindy's note, shoots Dave twice. It's Robbie! Rex reveals to P.C. Harvey that 'Blue' had planted a bomb underneath James's car, which he was defusing. Donny gives James his car keys. Just as Grace and Freddie arrive to warn him of 'Blue''s plan, James presses the ignition and Donny's car explodes.Cast
