Synopsis
Warren's broken out of prison, Suzanne publicly blurts out the family's ongoing problems, and Pearl supports Frankie.Plot
Rex removes the gag from Misbah and wants answers on how Donny knows who 'Blue' is. She insists she's told Rex everything she knows but he doesn't believe her. Ste doesn't understand how Warren's going to escape prison. Donny confronts Ethan but Vicky insists she was with Ethan all night. Frankie can't face Hollyoaks High so Darren takes her to The Dog in the Pond, where Suzanne's working and has JJ to keep an eye on. JJ and Frankie cross paths but are separated. An overwhelmed Frankie leaves and Pearl goes after her. Mercedes turns to Donny over Warren and 'Blue'. Abe gets Cleo to change her hairstyle but still won't delete the video of her and the escort. He insists on them having dinner together in the evening and she agrees.
Grace and Freddie are enlisted to help with Warren's escape. Donny knows someone who works at the prison and can help them get Warren out. Pearl emotionally reaches out to Frankie as she shares with her that her own sibling, Ruby, was sexually assaulted by their brother, Carl. She hasn't spoken with Ruby in years, but she's the strongest person she knows for speaking up like she did. Freddie's shocked when Robbie returns, wanting to know why the police want to talk to him about Lexi. Donny rings 'Blue', hoping to swap Warren for Misbah. 'Blue' just hangs up on him. Cleo has 17 missed calls from Abe. Pearl tells Suzanne and JJ to find alternative accommodation today, so Suzanne rants publicly about the abuse allegation to a packed pub.
Warren is broken out of prison with the help of Mercedes, Donny, Sunshine and Reg. Robbie loses his temper with JJ outside the pub and the note that Dave is 'Blue' falls visibly to the ground. Ste uses James's car to get Warren away. Freddie tells Robbie he isn't wanted in the village. Abe's angry when Cleo doesn't want to make love with him and forces her to watch her video with the escort before pushing her face into the tablet and giving her a nosebleed. Dave finds out that James's car was used as the getaway vehicle and plants a bomb under it, convinced that Warren will use the same car to make his escape from the village.Cast

Broadcast History and Releases
- This was the final episode broadcast as part of Hollyoaks airing five nights a week. It was announced on 29th February that Hollyoaks would reduce its episode output as part of a multi-year contract deal with Channel 4. The reduction in episode count was the result of changing viewing habits, with research showing that many fans would only watch three episodes a week due to the amount of other content available to consume. As part of the deal, Hollyoaks adopted a new broadcast pattern consisting of episodes dropping on Channel 4 Streaming on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7am on the same day of the E4 broadcast at 7pm. The new broadcast pattern came into effect from 9th September, meaning that two episodes of Hollyoaks dropped on Channel 4 Streaming on Thursday 5th September 2024 (hence no new episode airing on Friday 6th September 2024).
