Synopsis
Dave diverts Warren's attention away from "Blue" whilst Rex carries out the next stage of their plan. Arlo seeks revenge after Ro gets him and Anthony in trouble. Nancy prepares for her plea hearing.Plot
Mercedes begs Warren to go to the police, but Warren, due to threat made against him in the note, plans to sort it out himself. Dave lets himself in to check on Warren. Diane explains Anthony isn't getting a wage due to poor performance. Tony asks James to take on Beau's case. Ro plans to use his wage to buy tickets to the basketball, as Anthony sulks that he was going to use his wages to buy a videogame. Nancy prepares to submit her "Not Guilty" plea at her hearing. Cindy mentions that Jude has opened a bar in Spain. Dave's feigns ignorance towards Joel's condition, and questions Joel over whether he saw anything when Mercedes implies Joel was the one who found Norma's body. Despite Dave trying to talk him down, Warren assures them he's going to get revenge on "Blue" and Rex, much to Mercedes' dismay.
JJ receives his United contract, and is congratulated by Darren. When Darren mentions having Nancy's plea hearing today, JJ reminds Frankie of the promises they've agreed to keep. Dave and Rex talk in private; Dave explains seeing Joel in a drugged-out state has encouraged him to escalate things with Warren. Dave plans to use his "nice guy" persona to fool Warren. Mercedes lies to Leela for Joel about his whereabouts, then encourages Joel to get himself sorted as Leela feels like she's losing him. Ro notices his money is missing, then realises Anthony stole it to buy the new videogame. Diane reprimands Anthony for stealing and grounds him. Arlo encourages Anthony to seek revenge on Ro for getting him punished. DI Banks overhears Warren threatening to torture Rex, and asks to question him about Norma's death. Warren refuses, simply wanting revenge against "Blue", but Dave shows up and offers an alternative. Outside the courthouse, an overwhelmed Nancy breaks down in Darren's arms following her hearing.
Dave and Joel take Warren to a grief support group, where all three speak of loss. Warren admits to having been excited to see his daughters grow up with their grandma, revealing he blames himself for not being able to save Ella nor Norma. Meanwhile, Rex lets himself into Warren's house. Outside The Dog, Arlo uses his online identity, "Ash", to arrange a meeting with Ro. Joel lies to Leela that he went AWOL after having discovered Norma's body. Warren thanks Dave for his support, and calls him a good mate. Nancy admits to having crumbled at her hearing, and worries about when the time comes to provide evidence. As Darren tries to offer his support, Nancy ponders over the reason Frankie is lying about being pushed, believing she deserves some compassion. This is overheard by Frankie, who appears guilty over her lies. Warren returns home to find DI Banks searching his house following a tip-off, where they find a gun containing blue bullets. Dave looks on smugly as Warren is arrested on suspicion of Norma's murder.Cast
