Synopsis

Warren turns on Rex. Misbah apologises to Donny. Joel supports Leela as they choose flowers for Noah's funeral.

Plot

Mercedes obtains Fraser's stash of cash from the attic and hides it in a suitcase, ready to hand over to 'Blue' in 30 minutes. Ste stands his ground against Rex. Theresa offers Misbah advice over her situation with Donny. Mercedes lies to Norma about what she's up to when caught with the suitcase. Joel admits to Marie that he's scared and doesn't want to say goodbye to his son. Marie offers reassurance. Warren's confused to see Mercedes with a suitcase in The Dog in the Pond's car park and, after seeing money hanging out of it, wants answers.

Rex pays Leah to promote The Loft, provoking Ste. Mercedes explains to Warren why she took the money. Warren and Norma don't want to give into 'Blue' but Mercedes puts her foot down and insists the money is handed over today. Misbah apologises to Donny for abandoning him yesterday and they dance together. As Warren gets Ste and Rex to go with him to hand over the £500,000 to 'Blue', he notices green paint on Rex's shoes; it's the same green paint that was earlier spilt onto the suitcase outside The Dog in the Pond. Mercedes begs Norma to close her and her son's business in order to protect the family. Norma agrees on the condition that Mercedes always stands by Warren.

Warren drives Ste and Rex to a remote location in a van and locks Rex in the back. He tells Rex he knows he's rogue and acknowledges the paint on his shoe. With a jerrycan to hand, Warren pours fuel all around the van before igniting it. The van explodes as Rex desperately tries to escape. Leela thanks Joel for helping her with the flowers. Ste and Warren return to the village and their lovers. Mercedes is relieved to hear from Warren that 'Blue' won't be bothering them anymore. Ste tells James things are going to get better for them. Having survived the explosion and made it out of the van, Rex meets with 'Blue' and agrees it's time to take Warren down.
