Synopsis
Abe uses the McQueen/Anderson lunch as an opportunity to create distance between Cleo and her family, Ste comes clean to James about working for Warren, and threat of exposure leads Beau to have a breakdown.Plot
John Paul encourages Cleo to reschedule her counselling session, but Abe tells Cleo it's disrespectful the rest of the family don't recognise her strength, insinuating they are forcing her rather than being supportive. James and Ste want to make the most of Ste's last days of freedom, much to Cindy's disgust. Beau and Kitty panic about getting caught for Declan's murder. Having been drinking all night, Beau gets more and more distressed as he berates Tony and Diane for their ultimatum. Following a conversation with Prince over maintaining their lie about her baby's parentage, Zoe tells Pearl she wants to cancel lunch with the McQueens, but Pearl refuses, telling Zoe she'll be grateful for their support. John Paul tries to empathise with Cleo, comparing her bulimia to his alcoholism, but Cleo echoes Abe's earlier words about disrespect. While Cleo greets Pearl and Zoe, Abe asks for John Paul's help getting through to Cleo, manipulating the situation further.
Robbie finally catches up with Hannah in The Love Boat, asking where she's been and about her smashed phone. Hannah reveals herself to have a black eye and claims to have been locked in the back of a van, threatened back into escorting. Over lunch, Pearl mentions that the owners have asked her to manage the rental of the flat above Price Slice. John Paul hears someone being sick in the bathroom and assumes it's Cleo. A brick is thrown through the window of James' house, threatening Ste. Fearing that Warren's shooter is now targeting him, Ste tells James he's been working for Warren. As Beau becomes unwell, unable to cope with the stress of the threat of exposure, he begs Tony to let Kitty to stay, claiming he needs her around. Tony relents, and agrees to speak to Diane. John Paul confronts Cleo about her purging, but Zoe reveals it was her being sick. Hannah tells Robbie she needs to leave the village to escape her boss, and asks him to leave with her.
Tony tells Diane that they need to let Kitty stay, as Beau appears to be having a breakdown but will only see a doctor on the condition that Kitty stays. Diane is hesitant, but agrees on the proviso they'll deal with Kitty once Beau is well again. Despite the earlier reveal, John Paul continues to encourage Cleo to reschedule her counselling session, mentioning how she didn't eat much at lunch. Pushed to her limit by her family's insistence she needs help, Cleo performance eats a large amount of dessert before leaving the room in distress. Later that night, John Paul tries apologising to Cleo before going to bed. Abe tells Cleo her family humiliated her and are a trigger for her, and uses the opportunity to suggest they move into the flat above Price Slice. Meanwhile, Beau has a waking nightmare, clawing at the floor and shouting about Hunter's grave in front of Kitty, Diane and Tony.Cast
