Synopsis
Lucas and Dillon commit to each other, Darren asks Suzanne to move back in to help Frankie feel safe at home, and Sienna, Dilly and Maxine are shocked to learn that Patrick Blake has a twin brother.Plot
Sienna, Maxine and Dilly discuss whether the man in the bed could be Patrick, but he wakes and identifies himself as Patrick's twin. Dillon argues that he feels safe with Lucas, but Misbah compares the situation to Imran's violence towards her. Sienna and Maxine are doubtful over the man's identity as Patrick never mentioned having a twin, as he introduces himself to Dilly as Jeremy. Maxine leaves, distressed over seeing "Patrick's" face. Jeremy explains he and Patrick fell out many years ago, but Dilly's letters made him want to reach out. Sienna remains fearful that Jeremy could be just like Patrick, and advises Dilly to stay away from him. Misbah tells Dillon it's not his job to "fix" Lucas. Dillon retaliates that Misbah's relationship with Zain isn't perfect, however Misbah assures Dillon that Zain would never hurt her.
Darren and Nancy discuss their living situation, with Darren convinced he'll be able to get Frankie to tell the truth once she settled back at home. Frankie is learning sign language at hospital, as Suzanne and Darren inform her she'll be able to come home soon. Frankie seems unsure, asking if she can live with Suzanne at Pearl's instead, but they assure Frankie that Nancy isn't living at home currently and that her safety is their priority. Misbah explains that all Frankie's tests are clear, but she's still reporting symptoms, suggesting there are psychological reasons Frankie doesn't want to go home. Dillon rejects Lucas' attempts to talk at school, but asks to meet him at The Folly. Martha enters Jeremy's hospital room, and Jeremy tells her she won't stop him seeing his nieces. Martha grabs his morphine button and attempts to overdose him before being interrupted by Dilly, and fleeing.
Darren asks Suzanne to move back in to help persuade Frankie to come home. Scott, Vicky, Maxine and Freya all gather to say goodbye to Miley. Misbah assesses Jeremy and concludes there is no lasting damage. Jeremy thanks Dilly for not reporting Martha, and explains Martha believes she didn't get what she deserved from a will many years ago, leading her to become unhinged. Suzanne confirms she'll be sleeping in Frankie's room, after being asked by JJ. Charlie contests her presence, saying it's Nancy's home. Darren tells Charlie that Nancy is in the right place for now, just as Nancy walks in.
Maxine apologises to Sienna for running away earlier, but Sienna assures her she understands. Believing she's convinced Dilly to leave Jeremy alone, Sienna tells Maxine they'll never have to see him again. Lucas meets Dillon at The Folly, and promises never to hurt him again. The pair kiss, commit to each other as boyfriends, and exchange "I Love Yous", but agree to keep their relationship secret for now. Tom sees Martha looking at Patrick's plaque and refers to him as a monster. Martha retorts that the real monsters aren't often the ones we're told about. Jeremy and Dilly bond over their shared ability to move their ears independently, then Dilly invites Jeremy to move in once he's discharged.Cast
