Synopsis

Norma initiates plans for Noah's funeral, Dillon and Lucas have a misunderstanding, and Dilly meets a familiar face.

Plot

Sienna reveals to Liberty and Dilly that she's leased a stall from Donny in the market, and is opening "Blake's Blooms", deciding she's going to be a florist. Dilly rushes off claiming she has to go to work because Ethan is sick. Norma visits Joel and Leela to discuss plans for Noah's funeral, announcing she and Warren will be covering the costs. Joel and Leela wonder if it's too soon, but Norma informs them they only have 42 days to register Noah in order to receive birth and death certificates. They agree to register Noah today. Lucas assures Dillon he's still sure he wants to have sex despite being interrupted on their previous attempt, but then says he's grounded when Dillon reveals he's booked a hotel room for them. Dilly meets with Martha, and attempts to connect, but Martha just wants Dilly to leave her alone.

Abe overhears Cleo failing to make plans with Hannah, then shows her and Theresa photos of themselves at his HIIT class; with Cleo's being purposefully much less flattering. Dillon tries to cancel the hotel booking, and bumps into Ste who inadvertently reveals Lucas hasn't been grounded. Leela and Joel return with Noah's certificates, and imagine what he would've been like, but Leela realises Joel won't say Noah's name. Joel admits he can't, upsetting Leela, who wants to be able to talk with Joel about their son. Joel confesses he's afraid if he uses Noah's name, it'll hit him too hard, and he'll be unable to support Leela. Leela responds she doesn't want to deal with everything on her own, and Joel promises her she won't have to.

Sienna and Ste make steps to mending their friendship, then Sienna realises Dilly has lied when Ethan informs her it's his day off. Martha gives Dilly money to force her to stay away, as Sienna and Liberty arrive. Sienna confronts Dilly about contacting Martha again, as Martha sneaks off, leaving Dilly angry with Sienna for scaring her away. Lucas confides in John Paul of his worries he's not good enough for Dillon, but John Paul advises Lucas to take things at his own pace and be honest with Dillon. Abe and Theresa bond while she helps him with promotions for his classes. When Lucas meets with Dillon, Dillon reveals he knows Lucas lied to him, and says they can't move forward if Lucas still can't be honest with him.

The family meet at The Dog for a lunch arranged by Ste to support Leela and Joel, but Joel becomes more and more overwhelmed. An emotional Dilly, who has been drinking, knocks into Joel then makes a passing comment; "chill out, no one died". Immediately regretting her choice of words, Dilly apologises and makes an awkward exit, before Joel does the same, stating he needs to make a phone call. Marie follows him outside, and witnesses Joel calling Cleo. Marie reveals she knows about the pre-wedding kiss and advises Joel that running to Cleo is not the answer. Joel worries he's not strong enough to be the man Leela deserves, but Marie tells him to choose his wife and fight or risk losing everything. An upset Dilly is approached by a man who looks like Patrick Blake, before Martha moves in to attack.
