Synopsis

Hannah panics when Dave goes missing following his encounter with Rex, Joel struggles to stay strong for Leela and Daniel, Abe uses the photo of Cleo vomiting to further manipulate her, and Lucas decides he's ready to sleep with Dillon.

Plot

An angry Cleo confronts Abe about uploading the photo of her vomiting, but he claims it was accidental. Cleo panics it will have affected her promotion at work when she gets a message from Misbah asking to meet. Hannah tells Robbie they have to leave the village to get away from Rex, then overhears Cindy asking Mason, on the phone, if he's heard from Dave. Leela tells Joel she can't bring herself to tell Daniel about Noah. Arriving at the hospital, Cleo discovers Misbah just needs Cleo to sign her new contract, with a substantially higher salary. Leah playfully teases Lucas about Dillon, asking if they've slept together yet, leading Lucas to research being ready for sex after Leah leaves. At the park, Joel tries to tell Daniel about Noah, but is thrown when Daniel gives him a Father's Day card. Abe arrives at The Dog to find Cleo speaking to Harrison, a mortgage advisor. Abe is visibly annoyed when Cleo casually mentions her higher salary being the reason for setting up the meeting with Harrison, then claims it isn't the right time to look for their own place, and lies that Cleo made herself sick the previous night, implying she's having a bulimia relapse.

Joel tells Leela he couldn't tell Daniel about Noah, then offers to make omelette when Leela reveals she hasn't eaten. Cleo confronts Abe about what he said, but Abe lies that she was calorie counting and purging. Abe convinces Cleo she's choosing not to admit she has a problem and manipulates her by telling her he's worried about her. Cleo apologises and decides to make them both a healthy lunch. Cindy tells Suzanne about Dave not having come home, who then informs Hannah. Hannah rings Robbie, deciding to call the police. At Price Slice, Joel's supressed feelings over Noah come out over a lack of eggs, and Cleo comforts him. Lucas tells Dillon he's ready for sex. At the market, Joel confides in Cleo about feeling like a fraud for being upset over Noah, questioning if he's even allowed to call himself a father. Cleo comforts Joel, telling him that he and Leela need to be there for one another. Abe secretly watches from the McQueen house, and sees Cleo reject his phone call.

Robbie tries to convince Hannah not to go the police about Rex and Dave, as she has already been questioned over stealing Dave's wallet. Cindy walks past and reveals Dave has texted her to say he needed some time away. This convinces Hannah and Robbie that Dave is fine, but it appears someone else is in possession of both Dave's phone and his bloodied jacket. Joel comes home, and Leela tells him the hospital has phoned, as Noah's post-mortem results are ready. Abe makes out he's been so worried about Cleo and advises her to weigh herself to "take back control". Cleo tells him the doctors used to advise her not to do this as it could be triggering. Abe forces her to, then tells her the weight will drop straight off, leaving Cleo visibly shaken.
