Synopsis
Dave puts himself in danger to protect Hannah. Warren meets a new rival. Cleo gets her promotion and Abe is far from pleased when she cancels their dinner plans to celebrate.Plot
Abe learns that John Paul helped Cleo write up a new job application after he broke her tablet yesterday. Dave agrees to go with Cindy to the meeting with the social worker. Joel can't bear being away from Leela any longer and goes to see her. Leah explains to Freya why she lashed out at her and reassures her and Vicky that the Taylor Swift tickets are still theirs if they want them. Leela tells Joel that she's signed Noah's post-mortem forms but hasn't been able to tell Daniel that she's lost her baby yet.
Whilst carrying out a job at The Loft, Dave hears Rex talking to Warren about a batch of dodgy pills that killed a young girl. Rex wants to buy Warren out but Warren refuses and the gloves come off as neither of the men are willing to back down. Rex then bumps into Hannah outside and it's clear they have history. She's dragged away by him and his men, which Dave watches from a distance. Misbah informs Cleo she's received the promotion at work and starts with immediate effect. When Abe finds out, he doesn't congratulate her but instead turns aggressive as she changes their dinner plans to celebrate. Freya accepts Leah's apology. At The Dog in the Pond, Mercedes receives a text and suggests to Cleo they head home for a McQueens knees up.
In the hotel, Rex - Hannah's former boss - has a new client lined up for her. Cleo is surprised with a party at The Cage, but comments on Abe's absence, just as he shows up. Mercedes reveals it was Abe who organised the event. Cindy worries about Dave going AWOL and leaves him a voicemail. Abe apologises for grabbing Cleo earlier and claims he's messed everything up. He tells Cleo how proud he is of her and plies her with alcohol. Dave is revealed to be Hannah's client. He gets Hannah out of the bedroom and is left alone with Rex and his men. Abe encourages a severely drunk Cleo to vomit and photographs her as she does. He posts the picture online. Leah, Freya and Vicky attend the Taylor Swift concert together.Cast
