Synopsis
Zain remains threatened by Donny presence, Mercedes gets information that could be useful to Freddie, and Frankie's desire to move away for dance school leads to the reveal of a huge secret.Plot
Zain catches Misbah and Donny dancing in the kitchen. Freddie tells Mercedes she needs to find out the location of the money from Warren soon, as they're breaking Grace out in 72 hours. Mercedes insists that's not long enough and tells Freddie she doesn't want to be involved anymore, as she hasn't felt the babies kick all morning and they're her priority. Darren, Nancy and Suzanne remain steadfast in their beliefs Frankie isn't ready to leave home. Frankie questions why they're supportive of JJ's dreams, but not hers. Misbah tries to convince Zain there's nothing going on with Donny, telling him they can't move forward if he doesn't trust her.
Dilly receives a letter from Martha revealing she's left the village and blames Sienna for driving her away. Frankie begs Darren to let her go to the academy in London, and he agrees to speak with Suzanne and Nancy. At school, JJ insists he only told Darren and Suzanne so they could stay together, but Frankie informs JJ that Darren has changed his mind. Warren takes Mercedes to hospital, where she reminisces about Gabriel. Warren comforts her, and Mercedes asks him to come into the scan with her. Nancy tells Darren saying staying at home would be best for Frankie, who overhears. When challenged on this by her, Darren again suggests waiting a year. Frankie becomes distressed at the support for JJ over her, saying he's to blame for her drinking and self-harm, and accidentally revealing he's the reason Morgan ended up in hospital. Frankie tries to explain her reasonings, but Nancy angrily berates her.
Dr Tamworth assures Mercedes the scan shows two healthy heartbeats. Warren mentions being glad they can put everything behind them, but Mercedes becomes annoyed, reminding Warren that Hunter is dead because of him. A phone call Warren takes raises Mercedes' suspicions. Sienna apologises to Dilly about how she handled Martha and tells Dilly she doesn't need to look for family, as she's found it in her and Liberty. Donny is rebranding the market, and flirts with Norma, arranging a date with her. Mercedes tells Freddie she's changed her mind about Warren, after he was so flippant about Hunter's death. She tells Freddie she believes the earlier phone call means Warren is moving Fraser's money tonight. Zain notices Misbah's reaction to Donny announcing his date with Norma.
At The Dog, a progressively drunker Nancy informs Suzanne about what Frankie said. They argue until Suzanne leaves, and Nancy follows. At home, Frankie uses her tablet to record herself dancing, but JJ enters, grabbing her. Frankie calls him a freak, saying she doesn't like it when he touches her, threatening to tell everyone. This causes JJ to lash out and hit her over the head with a football boot. A drunk Nancy returns home and follows a stumbling Frankie upstairs, as a panicked JJ hides. As Nancy confronts her, Frankie collapses backwards down the stairs. JJ races to her and tells Nancy that Frankie won't wake up, asking what happened.Cast
