Synopsis
Leela comes to terms with some devastating news. Freddie finds out who's been looking after his daughter.Plot
Leela weeps as she comes to terms with the news. Abe uses his wounds to his advantage to manipulate Cleo. Leela's told by Dr. Tamworth that she'll need to be induced for labour. Midwife Coleen comforts Leela and attempts to ring Joel on her behalf, but he's asleep and doesn't pick up, so she tries Peri and Ste instead, but neither of them answer. Abe then gets a call from Leela and he and Cleo rush over to wake Joel. Freddie overhears Scott talking to Maxine about the loss he feels over Vicky finding her father and struggles as he's missing Lexi.
Freddie visits Grace at the prison and informs her that he wants to grab Lexi and leave before coming back for her. Grace reminds him that he needs to bide his time as she needs him to bust her out on their wedding day before they can runaway with Curtis and Lexi. Joel arrives at the hospital and searches for his wife. Freddie comes face-to-face with his daughter and is shocked to see Robbie with her. Cleo sees a ribbon on Leela's file at the hospital and tells Abe that it's an indication that Leela's lost her baby. The sob into each other's arms. Leela tearfully tells Joel their son has passed. Joel struggles to process what he's been told but only distresses Leela further as he challenges the midwife.
Maxine gives Scott a talk about not letting Vicky go. Robbie tells Freddie that him taking on Lexi was Sandy's idea. He reassures Freddie that Lexi is safe with him but also wants Freddie to accept that he blew his own chances of being a father with Lexi and it's over for him. Midwife Coleen informs Joel and Leela of their next steps. In her prison cell, Grace kisses a photograph of Curtis. Abe and Cleo are confused when police show up at The Cage, having received an anonymous report of a domestic disturbance. Leela and Joel return home and Leela bawls into a blanket.Cast
