Synopsis
Hannah and Robbie's plans with Dave are revealed, Abe twists the narrative after attacking Cleo, and Leela's day has a devastating end.Plot
Cleo fights back against Abe, striking his chin, causing him to bleed. Leela calls the maternity ward to report having not felt the baby move for five hours. Hannah tells Dave she does want shelves put up, as a surprise for Suzanne. Dave, feeling uncomfortable, decides to leave, but Hannah questions if he can really turn down the cash. Cleo remains adamant she was only defending herself, despite Abe's claims she's blowing things out of proportion. Shaking, Cleo attempts to clean Abe's wound, but he questions why she's "playing victim". Marie returns home, sees the destroyed flowers, and asks what's happened. Suzanne tells Cindy she hasn't booked Dave for a job.
Abe lies to Marie, telling her Cleo was dancing drunkenly with the flowers, and he fell whilst trying to steady her. It transpires that Myra-Pocahontas has been awake in the house the entire time, and she notices Abe's injured chin. Marie asks to speak to Cleo privately. Leela phones the maternity ward again, to report still having not felt the baby move, despite their previous advice. They ask her to come in, and she leaves Joel sleeping on the sofa. Cindy comes to see Dave to question why Suzanne is unaware of the job he's doing, but Dave explains Hannah used her mum's phone, having "lost" hers. Hannah encourages Cindy to leave so Dave can get the shelves up quickly. Marie asks Cleo if Abe has found out about her kiss with Joel the night before.
Cleo tells Marie the kiss was one-sided. Marie wants assurances that Cleo will stay with Abe, telling her she doesn't care if Joel thinks of Leela as second-best if staying with her means he's out of bounds for Cleo. Abe turns up to play the role of doting boyfriend and take her home, but is sure to bring up just how drunk Cleo was again. Dave tells Hannah they were a "one-off", telling her he didn't want to burden Cindy with his feelings, and Hannah tells him she's there if he ever needs someone to talk to. Coleen, the midwife, examines Leela, but can't find a heartbeat. She goes to get a doctor to get a second opinion.
Robbie advises Hannah not to get too close to Dave, but Hannah reminds him the plan is to have Dave fall for her, so she can convince him to pay off her debts to her "pimp", Robbie. Marie and Peri return home, wondering where Leela is. Leela videocalls Peri, telling her she's in hospital, but there's nothing to worry about. Marie agrees to move back in, accepting Leela's apology. Dr Tamworth assesses Leela, and prepares for an ultrasound. Robbie is revealed to be looking after Freddie's daughter Lexi, who jokes Robbie wishes Hannah was his girlfriend. Abe tells Cleo he forgives her, but she argues that he's to cover things up. Abe makes out he was protecting Cleo from Marie finding out what she did, but Cleo remains adamant that Abe is the one in the wrong. Abe tells Cleo he could get her arrested, but Cleo challenges him to try and see what happens. Leela begins to panic, as Dr Tamworth carries out the ultrasound, then confirms her baby has passed away.Cast
