Synopsis
Pearl agrees to let Suzanne move in, Marie's attempts to reconnect with Arlo fail, Dave contacts an escort, and Beau and Kitty's return to the village leads to a heartbreaking revelation.Plot
Kitty begs Beau not to call the police over Declan's death, fearing she'll go to prison for identity theft. They resolve to stay quiet and move the body. Dave tells Cindy to retract what she said about Lizzie being responsible for her own death, but Cindy can't bring herself to respond. Pearl and Zoe agree to let Suzanne move in, after Hannah appeals to Pearl's Christian side. Beau and Kitty have difficulty moving the body. Kitty apologises for getting Beau involved, but thanks him for saving her. Kitty explains that no one is likely to find the body as the cabin has been abandoned for years, so they agree to leave. Kitty takes the doll from her mother with her.
Ethan empathises with Cindy's point of view, reminding Dave that their whole family is aware of the effects drugs can have. As Dave storms off, Ethan begs him not to contact his dealer. Suzanne appears overall unimpressed with the accommodations at Pearl's flat, but Hannah tells her to be more grateful. Suzanne can't understand how Hannah can afford the rent upfront, but Hannah explains it away as payment for a modelling job. Joel promises Leela that once they're married, Marie will move out, then asks Liberty for a favour in secret. Marie approaches Arlo, who is with a group of older boys, and Abe tells him that Marie has bought tickets to a basketball game for the three of them. In a hotel room, Hannah answers the door under her pseudonym "Treasure", and her client is revealed to be Dave.
Dave has a post-coital chat with "Treasure", discussing Lizzie's death. Hannah blames the drug dealers, then awkwardly tries to encourage Dave to leave, and steals his wallet. Hannah encourages Dave to make amends with his wife, making an anonymous reference to Rhys and how his death tore her family apart. Beau and Kitty return to the village, where Liberty refers to them as a couple and calls Beau a "diamond". Kitty tells Beau everyone knows he's a good man, so they just have to stay quiet about Declan. Beau tells Kitty to tell the police "Kitty" isn't missing and promises not to tell anyone she's really Ivy Shaw.
After having sex at the hospital, Cleo and Abe arrange to spend the evening together, so Abe agrees to cancel his plans with Arlo and Marie. At The Dog, Dave realises he's misplaced his wallet, the gets a videocall from Mason. Mason inadvertently implies Cindy advised him to leave the village, leading Dave to remain angry with her when she arrives at the pub. Marie tells Arlo Abe won't be coming to the basketball, making Arlo question if it was a setup to spend time alone with him. Marie accidentally admits it was Abe who bought the tickets, and an angry Arlo reveals he lied to the welfare officer about getting on with Marie. Beau and Kitty enter the pub and avoid Tony's questions. Zoe appears, so Kitty lies she fell out with her family and left home, which must have resulted in the missing person's report. Zoe says she'll close the case. Kitty becomes distressed when she finds out Lizzie has died, causing Beau to follow her outside, where Kitty reveals that Lizzie was the mother of her child. Dave contacts "Treasure" again and arranges a booking. A knock at Hannah's hotel room door reveals the return of Robbie Roscoe.Cast
