Synopsis

As the McQueens grieve, Mercedes informs Goldie about Hunter's passing and Prince seeks revenge, Cindy struggles to find the right way to support Dave, and Cleo's kind words for Marie lead to her reconnecting with Abe.

Plot

As Hunter's family and friends gather following his death, Prince decides he needs to be the one to tell Goldie, but can't bring himself to make the phone call. Abe cleans up Marie's vomit from the previous night, making Marie upset that history is repeating itself. She panics that Arlo saw her, but Abe confirms he didn't. Cindy tells Dave that Mason has left Hollyoaks to live with his mother. Dave worries that his words the previous day drove Mason away, so Cindy tries to comfort him by telling him he has friends to support him and gives him a C.D. gifted to them as a wedding present. However, the C.D. was from Lizzie, leaving Dave even more devastated.

Prince blames Dilly for Hunter's death as she supplied the pills, so she asks if there's anything she can do to make things better. Mercedes contacts Goldie to inform her of Hunter's death. Dilly takes Prince to see Rob and Prince attacks him.

Warren follows an upset Mercedes, and finds out Hunter and Lizzie both died from taking the tainted pills. Norma overhears and advises Warren to use the situation to get back on Mercedes' good side, and become involved in his unborn child's life again, but Warren informs her the dodgy pills were imported by him. Prince tries to force Rob to take some of the pills, but is stopped by Dilly. However, when Dilly leaves, Prince follows Rob.

Cindy organises for some of Dave's friends to come over, in an effort to show him he isn't alone. However, Dave resents the idea of being pushed to move on, and declares he's going to work if that's what Cindy thinks he should be doing. Cindy laments how her wedding day was ruined, but Darren reminds her she should be supporting Dave as his wife. Cleo visits Abe to apologise, but speaks with Marie instead. Marie ponders if it would have been better had Abe let her die, upsetting Cleo, who informs Marie about Hunter's passing. Cleo tells Marie to stop feeling sorry for herself, as she's the lucky one who got to live, but Marie can't understand why. Cleo leaves, but tells Marie she can't be a bad mum if she raised Abe, unaware Abe has overheard the conversation. Maire tells Abe to go after Cleo.

Prince observes Rob selling drugs to a hidden figure, then handing money to Warren. Abe visits the McQueens' to pass on his condolences and thank Cleo for what she said to Marie. Cleo apologises for her words last night, refers to Abe as her "boyfriend", and the pair embrace. Dave returns home, and it's revealed he was the hidden figure buying from Rob when he removes the drugs from his wallet, which is witnessed by a shocked Cindy. Norma berates Warren for selling illegal drugs, again encouraging him to make amends with Mercedes. Prince breaks into the house, and challenges Warren, blaming him for Hunter's death and threatening to kill him. Prince goads Warren into a fight, calling him a murderer, and Warren attacks him, causing Prince to drop Hunter's pendant necklace.
