Synopsis
Misbah insists she wants to save her marriage, Lucas tries to prove himself to Carter but John Paul is suspicious, and Freddie makes advances on cracking Fraser's code.Plot
Lucas wants to prove himself to Carter, so Carter plans to hire an escort for him to sleep with. Donny tries to tell Andre that Zain's current situation isn't his fault, but Andre insists it is. Carter's escort is revealed to be Hannah Ashworth, who introduces herself to Lucas as "Treasure". Outside the hospital, Misbah tells Donny that Zain is stable, but unconscious, and tells Andre she doesn't blame him for trying to help. Misbah confesses to Tom that she and Donny kissed, admitting she believes the stress of finding out is what caused Zain to have a stroke. Grace and Freddie discuss deciphering Fraser's code.
Lucas lies to Hannah about his age. After getting assurance that Lucas consents, Hannah leans in for a kiss, but stops when she recognises Ste Hay from a photo and works out Lucas is Ste's son. Realising what Carter has set up, she reveals that she knows Carter practises conversion therapy and encourages Lucas to seek support from someone else.
Lucas confesses to Carter that he didn't sleep with Hannah, begs for another chance, and asks about their plans to disrupt Pride. Carter reveals members of his group will don balaclavas and cover the crowd with red paint. Lucas wonders if this is extreme, but Carter tells him if he can't prove he's straight by sleeping with a woman, he can prove it via his actions at Pride. Lucas leaves when John Paul interrupts them. John Paul confronts Carter over why Lucas' behaviour has changed, asking if he's trying to convert him. Carter denies the allegations, so John Paul questions him about Ro Hutchinson. Witnessing Carter trying to hide a key, John Paul confesses to still having feelings for Carter, and the pair kiss.
Misbah tells Donny that it was his insistence that led them to kiss, and emphasises she wants to save her marriage. John Paul reminds Carter that religion is about love and acceptance, and not something to use to prey on vulnerable teenagers like Lucas. Carter receives a text from Hannah, demanding more money for her silence. Freddie tells Grace he's worked out Fraser's code is linked to Warren's plans for the Hayloft.
Hannah slaps Carter and threatens to tell people he's pressurising students into sex. Carter counters that he'll tell her family she's a prostitute if she does, before discovering John Paul has stolen the key. In Carter's office, John Paul finds balaclavas, red paint and a map of the parade route in a cabinet. At an unconscious Zain's bedside, Misbah asks for his forgiveness. When he stirs, Misbah asks him if he remembers anything, but he says he doesn't. Carter tells Lucas the Pride plan is off as John Paul has likely alerted the authorities, then persuades Lucas to go with him to a Church in America.Cast
