Synopsis

Warren ensures Mercedes knows that he isn't playing games. Rose reveals his new name to his parents, who have conflicting views on the revelation. Frankie begins to self-harm.

Plot

Mercedes makes clear to Warren that she's not scared of him after finding a message graffitied on the garage door. Frankie plays down yesterday's events. Darren suggests to her they have some father/daughter bonding time, but when he mentions JJ she has a change of heart and decides to go and see Lucas. Rose tells his parents that he wants to be called Ro from now on. Tony's accepting of Ro's new name but Diane struggles with the change. Lucas refuses to help his father and tells him that he doesn't want want him around for his birthday.

Prince doesn't want to let Warren get away with his threats but his family plead with him to stay away from the gangster. Lucas tells Warren that Ste's out on bail. Sienna tries to stop Warren from seeking revenge with a threat of stopping him from seeing the twins, but he reminds her that she couldn't stop him even if she tried. Diane wonders if she can support her son thinking he could be making the biggest mistake of his life. Prince tries eavesdropping on Warren but his phone goes off and he's caught out. Frankie steals a bottle of wine from outside The Dog and then runs off with Lucas to Ella's graveside. Warren imprisons Prince in The Loft and then messages Mercedes from Prince's phone.

Lucas is disgusted when Frankie pours wine over Ella's grave. When he questions her on why she drinks, she tells him she does it to blank out all the bad. She catches him scratching his self-harm wounds and makes a remark on it, resulting in Lucas admitting he's been hurting himself. He runs off claiming Frankie knows nothing about him. Mercedes advises Tony to put Ro before Diane. Prince manages to break out of the office. Tony visits Carter to inform him that Ro is trans. In her bedroom, Frankie begins to self-harm. Prince tells Sally and Theresa what Warren's text Mercedes. He's sent over to the garage to check on Mercedes; as he does, Warren breaks into the McQueens and trashes the place.
