Synopsis

Dillon's confused to find Carter taking photos of Lucas with the Bible. Kitty starts work at the hospital. Marie learns something that turns her attention to Abe.

Plot

Marie introduces Abe to the new private investigator, Shirley, who believes Arlo was last seen in Dublin. Abe is cynical about the sighting, but Shirley has found additional CCTV footage, which she reveals Abe told the previous private investigator not to follow up on. After Dillon walks in on Carter taking photos of Lucas with a Bible, Carter explains he is building a website for the SBU. Carter departs, and Lucas says he wants to be like Carter, once again stating he isn't gay. Dillon expresses his feeling for Lucas, but Lucas calls out his hypocrisy for leading on Freya. Abe defends himself to Marie by saying the photo of Arlo wasn't clear. Leela agrees, asking if Arlo is asleep in the photo. Marie forgives Abe and they agree to take the footage to the police. Sharon asks for Kitty's ID before starting her nursing training. Kitty hands over the driver's licence of the real Kitty Draper. Sharon remarks on the speciality she's chosen, and Kitty stumbles, not realising it's cardiology.

Marie and Abe show the footage of Arlo to D.S. Banks, who states they'll begin enquiries in Dublin. Marie makes plans to go to Dublin, but Banks advises her to leave the investigation to the police. Dillon breaks up with Freya, telling her there's a complicated situation with someone else. Abe returns to the flat alone, and goes through Marie's case, finding a box of sedatives. He makes an anonymous phone call, saying he knows who is responsible for the disappearance of Arlo Fielding. Both Sharon and Cleo advise Kitty that cardiology maybe isn't the best choice for her and recommend paediatrics, and Kitty agrees. In The Dog car park, Abe tries to delay Marie from getting into her taxi for Dublin. Banks arrives and asks to speak with Marie, revealing allegations have been made against her.

Carter and Dillon argue over what Lucas really needs, and Carter tells Dillon to stay away from Lucas. Marie is angry over the allegations and states she would never drug her son. Abe pretends to defend Marie, but brings up Joel, forcing Marie to disclose details of throwing Joel out when he younger. Beau tries to apologise to Kitty again, saying he needs time to adjust. But Kitty doesn't want to be someone Beau has to "adjust" to. Lucas refers to Dillon's behaviour as "filthy sin" and calls him a "lost cause". Dillon ponders aloud where Lucas could be picking up homophobic language, insinuating Carter is brainwashing him. Banks finishes his questioning, and Abe shows him out. In the process, he purposefully knocks over Marie's bag and pretends to find the sedatives he planted. Banks arrests Marie on suspicion of poisoning Arlo, as Abe looks pleased over the outcome.
