Synopsis
Abe loses his temper with Cleo after meeting up with Joel and discovering that she spoke to him about them. Sally's rushed to hospital after collapsing at Hollyoaks High. Mercedes is unsuccessful in her attempt to reason with Warren.Plot
Mercedes and Theresa tell Cleo that they think the story about Arlo is suspicious. Abe overhears the women and tells them that he persuaded Marie to let Chris take Arlo away with him for the weekend, unaware he had no intention of bringing Arlo back. Leela confronts James and Ste over Warren. She wants to get Joel involved but Ste insists they stay out of it for the sake of the baby. Marie does all she can to get Joel on side but he refuses to soften on his mother. Leela ignores Ste's pleas and asks Joel to talk to Warren. Joel tells Warren that he won't let him tear his family apart and threatens to go to the police if he goes near Ste again.
Sally's suffering with back pain at work. Maxine's offended when she walks in on John Paul calling her and Carter's relationship a joke. Cleo opens up to Joel about Abe; Joel suggests they slow things down. John Paul apologises to Carter over his comment about his relationship to Maxine. The chemistry grows between the men but their moment is disturbed by a scream from the school's corridor. They rush outside to find that Sally's collapsed and lost consciousness. Ste's comforted to have Leela fighting his corner. Joel extends an olive branch to Abe, but when Cleo becomes the topic of conversation, Abe snaps and storms off.
Mercedes decides to try and reason with Warren and ends up revealing the twins gender to him, but Warren refuses to let her bargain with him and makes clear to her that once the twins are born, she'll be useless to him and he'll make her pay. Carter meets with Maxine, Freya and Declan at The Dog to celebrate his and Maxine's relationship. Sally comes round at the hospital - she's being kept in overnight for observation and having a few routine scans. Abe angrily confronts Cleo over her earlier conversation with Joel and ends up throwing a glass at a wall when she expresses how she's feeling about him keeping secrets from her.Cast
