Synopsis
Ste survives the fall and makes a shocking confession. Maxine has words with Carter over their non-existent sex life. Marie winds up Mercedes and then seduces Warren.Plot
James finds Ste barely conscious on the floor and rings for an ambulance. Marie causes a scene at the gender reveal party. Carter and Maxine bump into Lucas and Leah in the village and Maxine invites them round until they find Ste. At the hospital, James is questioned by D.S. Peel while Ste's checked over by a medical team. Joel's angry with Marie, who desperately wants to make amends with her son.
Leela's having a boy while Mercedes is having twin girls. Joel shocks Mercedes and Leela when he reveals that Warren's back. Leela goes to notify Ste on her phone and learns that something's happened to him. Marie clashes with Mercedes in the village. James is reluctant to cooperate with D.S. Peel. Having heard what's happened to Ste, Carter tells Joel he'll keep an eye on Leah and Lucas at school. Joel tries to encourage Mercedes to reach out to Warren and let him be a part of the baby's life. Ste has several fractures but is expected to make a full recovery.
Maxine plans a romantic night with Carter but things don't go to plan as he's visibly uncomfortable. She vocalises her concerns at their lack of intimacy despite being together for months. Carter puts his behaviour down to the day's events with Leah and Lucas. Ste's devastated at the mess he's got him, James and his family are in. Warren's stunned to see Marie at The Loft. She seduces him and they end up sleeping together. Mercedes witnesses them in the act and walks away in shock, dropping an envelope in the process. James returns to the hospital to find D.S. Peel and Cindy with Ste. Ste tells Cindy and the detective that he killed Ella.Cast
