Synopsis
Abe is determined to get Mercedes on his side. Diane and Tony are arrested. Zain's hurt to find out what Misbah thinks of their marriage. Cindy goes jobhunting.Plot
Mercedes calls a truce with Abe and then tells Theresa what she heard. Tony's invited to the mayor's office to talk about his road safety campaign. Rose braces herself to tell Diane what she's going through. Leela doesn't appreciate bumping into Joel whilst taking Daniel to school. Mercedes questions Joel over Abe. Cindy's shocked at how low Dave's set their wedding budget and so decides she's going to get a job.
Zain overhears Misbah confiding in Sharon that she's worried there's no passion in their marriage. Cindy tries for a job at The Dog but they're fully staffed. Mercedes breaks into Abe's locker at the youth centre but is caught out by him. Suzanne and Cindy have a petty argument at The Dog and are both kicked out by Diane. Abe claims he was on the phone to his mother before stressing to Mercedes that he won't let anyone hurt Cleo again. Joel's mother wants him to visit her in prison, but he isn't interested. Dave notifies Cindy of a job vacancy at Price Slice.
Zain ditches the hospital ball with Misbah to go to Horrorfest with Dillon and Freya. She's distraught to discover that he overheard her earlier conversation with Sharon. Diane's caught running a red light by the police; she's breathalysed and arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol as the police car's dashcam caught her in the driving seat. Tony exercises his councillor status to try and get his wife off but is also arrested when he attempts to tamper with the dashcam. Abe privately hands money to a woman and then sends her on her way.Cast
