Synopsis
James and Romeo say an emotional goodbye to one another, but James is unaware that Romeo's off to see Peri before he flees the country. Rafe is taken to hospital and Misbah recommends he's referred to begin palliative care. Carter offers Lucas his "advice".Plot
Rafe takes a funny turn in front of Sienna. Felix visits Mercedes and tells her that he knows about her miscarriage. James prepares to get Romeo out of the country, but Romeo wants to talk to Peri before he goes. At the hospital, Misbah tends to Rafe. Felix reassures Mercedes that he's back. Misbah informs Rafe that his episode was a result of the brain tumour; she wants to refer him to his consultants for palliative care but he's against the idea.
Carter tells Lucas that if he doesn't want to be like his father, he must go the extra mile to be different. Having been invited by Ste, Maxine attends Sienna's hen do. As Sienna tells Maxine that she and Dilly had bad news, strippers show up and perform! Romeo rings Peri and tells her he's leaving the village and asks to meet her, going against his father's advice. Nana encourages Mercedes to do whatever she has to to make things work between her and Felix. Romeo says goodbye to James and leaves the shack.
At The Dog, Mercedes tells Felix that she wants to be with him. They kiss, unaware that Warren is watching them from behind. Sienna returns home to a drunken Rafe. A cryptic conversation about how she'll hate him by the time all is over leaves Sienna with unanswered questions just as he falls asleep. Romeo meets Peri in The Dog's car park and she tearfully apologises to him as the police surround the area and Zoe arrests him on suspicion of Rayne's murder.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 15th January 2024, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 11th January 2024 at 7:30 pm became its new official date.
