Synopsis
Ste lies to James and then hears the truth right from the horse's mouth. Tony and Darren pay Norma a visit. Nana takes a funny turn.Plot
Ste wants an explanation from his son but doesn't get one. Tony doesn't think they've raised enough money so suggests to Darren they pay Norma a visit. Sienna plays down Sebastian's accusation against Dilly and Rafe. At The Loft, Darren and Tony plead with Norma but don't get through to her. Nana tries to persuade Warren to leave the village so that Mercedes will return home but he refuses to go. As tensions rise, Warren leaves Nana with a harsh warning.
Dilly thinks that Rafe is playing the role of Sienna's lover too convincingly. When James returns home, Ste reveals that Lucas has told him everything, but as James comes clean to Ste about all he's done to the lad, a sickened Ste backtracks and admits that Lucas didn't say anything to him. Ella gives Charlie his Christmas present and tells him that she wants him. They share a kiss before he awkwardly dashes off. At The Dog, Ste tells Leah and Leela that James hit Lucas. Leela goes to attack James but Joel pulls her off and her pregnancy is inadvertently announced through him.
Darren tells Norma that Ella will despise her when she kicks Charlie out onto the street on Christmas Day. His words hit home with Norma and she changes her mind about making him homeless. Dilly asks Sienna about her past Christmases. A heartbroken Ste makes clear that what happens next between them is down to Lucas, but as he goes to get Lucas from the bedroom he discovers he's gone. Joel tells Warren and Norma that Leela's pregnant. Nana takes a funny turn whilst leaving Mercedes a voicemail and collapses in the back garden of The Cage.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast as part of a double-bill on 28th December 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its 'intended' Channel 4 Streaming date of 22nd December 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date. This episode's release formed the beginning of the 2023 festive boxset. This episode premiered on E4 on 26th December 2023 at 7:00 pm.
