Synopsis
Carter and John Paul end up having another passionate encounter with one another. Yasmine continues to message her admirer and later snaps at her mother when she tries to get into her phone. Felix plans to leave Mercedes alone and keep looking to the future.Plot
Diane sets John Paul and Scott up on a blind date, although they're less than enthusiastic when when they find out. Sally suggests to Goldie that they go and talk to Carter about Hunter returning to work. Pearl and Zoe encourage Felix to carry on with his life and respect Mercedes' wishes to not be found. Warren walks in on their conversation and is shocked that his best friend is giving up on Mercedes.
Carter's left jealous upon seeing John Paul and Scott enjoying themselves at The Dog, so apologises to Maxine and invites her to the school's staff Christmas party as his date. Freya's upset to learn of her father's love life through Mason and cries in a classroom, where John Paul finds her and tries to help her. In an attempt to cover up his true feelings over Mercedes, Warren tells Zoe that he's worried Mercedes disappearance could set Felix back. John Paul ends up making matters worse with Freya.
Misbah notices that Yasmine's been engrossed in her phone all day. Yasmine tells her mother she's preparing for her and Jack's true crime podcast. Freya confronts her father in the village and Carter then confronts John Paul in The Dog's toilets afterwards. They end up having sex in one of the bathroom stalls. Yasmine snaps at Misbah when she tries to get into her phone to help her with the podcast preparations. John Paul and Carter are shocked when someone rushes out of the stall nearby after Carter asks John Paul not to tell anyone about what they just did.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 13th December 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 11th December 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date. This episode premiered on E4 on 12th December 2023 at 7:00 pm.
