Synopsis
Hunter is revealed as the person who attacked James on the night of the masquerade ball. Leela discovers what Joel really wants for Christmas. Pearl's birthday present for Jack isn't what she thought it was.Plot
Tony's hurt by Darren's actions yesterday. He wants Darren to promise him that he won't do anything stupid. Hunter doesn't understand how Rayne ended up in the pool when she was by the side of it when Prince left her. It's Jack's birthday. Leela discovers that Joel doesn't want anything for Christmas and would rather help those in need. Prince explains to Hunter that he found Rayne outside the manor. She was planning to propose to Romeo and was thrown to the floor by Prince when she went to stop him telling Romeo.
Jack's delighted by the surprise birthday party thrown for him at The Dog. Nancy video calls Darren to tell him that Morgan's medical bill is £13,000. A chat with Zain about a Christmas gift appeal prompts Leela to sign herself and Joel up to help. Hunter stands firmly by his twin brother. Cindy mistakenly takes a parcel that Dave's brought in whilst on shift as a gift for her. Pearl's shocked when she discovers that she's mistakenly booked a stripper for Jack instead of a Frank Sinatra tribute act.
Darren applies for instant loans but is rejected. Dave can't stop thinking about the parcel that he inadvertently gave to Cindy instead of the customer. Darren turns to Norma for a loan. Pearl's in utter disbelief at the mistake she's made. Hunter tells Zoe that Prince didn't kill Rayne. When no one else is around him, Hunter pulls Rayne's phone from his pocket, having picked it up from the crime scene after Rayne's murder. He's also revealed to be the person who attacked James at the masquerade ball.Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 20th November 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 16th November 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date. This episode premiered on E4 on 17th November 2023 at 7:00 pm.
