Synopsis
John Paul is forced to face his attacker. After a day in court, Dave decides to fight for Cindy. The teens decide to enter the Halloween short film competition.Plot
John Paul backs out of the camping trip, calling Carter "insane". Darren is intrigued to find Dave wearing a suit, but Dave is tetchy when his housemates enquire about it. Darren suspects he's trying to win back Cindy so Charlie and Mason decide to play cupid. Norma is furious to learn that Warren has decided to send Ella to Los Angeles. Warren comforts a downbeat John Paul. Lucas, Leah and Dillon sneak into the Wreck with a set of stolen keys. They kill the lights and scare Beau, who strikes Dillon in the face.
John Paul decides to return to Carter. Beau confronts the trio with Leah's phone, but advises them to enter the recording into the Halloween short film competition. Carter tries to pair John Paul and Jackson together. Mason and Charlie make Cindy feel jealous over Dave. A guilty Jackson opens up to John Paul. John Paul storms off when Jackson refuses to admit that the attack rooted from homophobia.
Dave reveals to Cindy that he has actually spent the day in court, having been sentenced for possession. Carter snaps at John Paul and calls him weak. Dave has been sentenced to community service. He makes clear that he'll wait for Cindy to forgive him, but she doesn't answer. John Paul returns to the campsite and forgives Jackson. Carter tells Gareth that it's time John Paul was "rid of his homosexuality".Cast

- This episode was originally produced and scheduled with the intention to broadcast on 27th October 2023, but due to Hollyoaks being removed from the Channel 4 schedule at short notice, its Channel 4 Streaming date of 25th October 2023 at 7:30 pm became its new official date. This episode premiered on E4 on 26th October 2023 at 7:00 pm.
